There is white stuff on the lingual tonsils

When something abnormal happens to their tonsils, some people will carefully observe their tonsils, so some people observe that some white substances are secreted from the tonsils. Moreover, the appearance of this secretion is also accompanied by tonsil pain. Therefore, if the tonsils secrete white substances, it is generally a disease problem. So what is the matter with the white substances on the lingual tonsils?

1. What is the reason for the white substance in the lingual tonsils?

If it has just appeared, it is considered to be purulent tonsillitis and requires anti-inflammatory treatment as soon as possible. However, if it lasts for a long time, it may be tonsil keratosis. It is recommended to go to the hospital for a diagnosis.

2. What to eat for tonsillitis

1. You should eat more fresh fruits, such as kumquats. Kumquat peels are rich in nutrients and contain high amounts of vitamin C and calcium, which can eliminate the symptoms of tonsillitis.

2. After tonsillitis, you should eat more liquid and soft food, especially children with tonsillitis, who should mainly eat foods that are high in water and easily absorbed, such as thin rice soup (with salt), fruit juice, sugarcane juice, water chestnut water (powder), mung bean soup, etc.

3. What should you avoid eating when you have tonsillitis?

1. Avoid eating fried rice: Fried rice can damage the yin and cause internal heat, which can more easily aggravate tonsillitis. Although fried rice is fragrant, it is dry in nature and increases fire. People who are not suffering from cold and diarrhea should avoid eating it.

2. You should also avoid eating meat, such as dog meat, mutton, chicken, goose meat, partridge meat, etc. These meats are warm and nourishing, while sore throat is caused by real heat and evil fire. Of course, after eating them, it is easy to increase heat and fire, generate heat and phlegm, which will aggravate the condition.

3. Avoid eating oranges: Although oranges are cool in nature, they taste sweet and sour. However, if you consume too much, you will get a sore throat, mouth sores or ulcers. Therefore, it is not advisable to eat too many oranges during tonsillitis.

4. Avoid eating foods that are warm or hot in nature: such as longan meat, leek, chili, pepper, amomum, cinnamon, eggplant, ginseng, etc. Tonsillitis is actually caused by fire toxicity, which is a symptom of heat syndrome, so you should avoid eating the above-mentioned condiments and foods.
