Get to know the introduction of osteosarcoma

Osteosarcoma is a type of tumor that is very harmful to humans. Many people suffer from it, but the initial symptoms are relatively mild and people think it is a minor problem. In fact, there are great hidden dangers and a lack of understanding of osteosarcoma. So now let's learn about the introduction of osteosarcoma!

Osteosarcoma is basically osteolytic, and occasionally osteoblastic. It can occur at any age, but it occurs most frequently in people aged 10 to 25, and is more common in men. Common osteosarcomas can be divided into six types: the first is vascularized osteosarcoma, the second is well-differentiated intracortical osteosarcoma, the third is well-differentiated intramedullary osteosarcoma, the fourth is round cell osteosarcoma, the fifth is parosteal osteosarcoma, and the sixth is dedifferentiated parosteal osteosarcoma.

Osteosarcoma is a common malignant bone tumor, usually secondary to the mesenchymal cell line. If the tumor develops rapidly, it may be caused directly by the tumor through the cartilage stage, or indirectly by the tumor bone-like tissue, and also by bone tissue. Due to external factors, the cells of the weight-bearing bones of the lower limbs will mutate, which may be closely related to the formation of osteosarcoma.

The most obvious symptom of osteosarcoma is pain at the tumor site, which may be caused by erosion of tumor tissue or dissolution of cortical bone.

The above is the understanding of osteosarcoma, so if you feel unwell, you should go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time, and do not delay the best treatment time.

After osteosarcoma is diagnosed by pathology, early chemotherapy or radiotherapy begins. Resection of tumor tissue is an important step in the treatment of osteosarcoma. With the improvement of tumor surgical technology and the development of implant research, limb preservation therapy has shown a good treatment prospect. Consolidation chemotherapy or radiotherapy after tumor tissue resection is very important for controlling tumor metastasis and improving survival rate.
