Does soy sauce have any effect on scars

Soy sauce is a condiment that can increase the color and flavor of dishes, making them taste more fragrant. Many dishes require soy sauce to color and flavor them when cooking, and most people can eat it. However, people with scars on their bodies are somewhat skeptical about eating soy sauce. Does soy sauce have any effect on scars? There is no scientific basis for this. Having scars has nothing to do with eating soy sauce. In other words, you can eat it and it will not affect the scars.

Soy sauce has little to do with wound healing, and there is currently no scientific evidence to prove that eating soy sauce will cause scars on wounds. Whether scars will be left on the skin depends mainly on factors such as the depth of the injury, the degree of bacterial infection, and individual differences.

Soy sauce is made from fermented soybeans, wheat, etc. When it enters the gastrointestinal tract, it will be digested to produce amino acids, inorganic salts, water and other substances. It does not have the function of increasing photosensitivity and will not synthesize some hormones. The melanin in soy sauce is not directly transferred to the skin and has no effect on the synthesis of skin melanocytes.

Five tips for scar removal

1. Massage the scar with the base of your palm, three times a day, each time for 5-10 minutes. This method is most effective for wounds that have just shed scabs, but is less effective for old scars.

2. Ginger friction method: Slice the ginger and gently rub the scar to inhibit the continued growth of granulation tissue.

3. Vitamin E application method Vitamin E can penetrate into the skin and play its moisturizing effect. At the same time, vitamin E can also maintain skin elasticity. But you may not be familiar with the scar removal effect of vitamin E. Poke a hole in the vitamin E capsule with a needle, take out the liquid inside and apply it on the scar and gently massage for 5-10 minutes, twice a day. You will see better results if you persist.

4. Vitamin C application method Vitamin C has a whitening effect. Apply vitamin C on darker scars to whiten them and make them consistent with the tone of the surrounding healthy skin.

5. Lavender essential oil application method The beauty effect of lavender is always magical, and the effect of lavender essential oil in reducing scars is also widely recognized. However, lavender essential oil is not very effective for new scars or scars that are more than 8 years old. It is more effective for scars that are one to two years old.
