How to treat traumatic pericarditis?

Pericarditis is inflammation of the visceral and parietal layers outside the heart. The disease is not contagious and can be suffered by the general population as long as the treatment methods include Western medicine or traditional Chinese medicine, and the department involved is also the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. This disease is very harmful to the human body, and the complications are radiation, uremic, and tumor pericarditis. So what is the specific treatment for this disease?

Treatment should be directed at the cause. For example, tuberculous cases must be treated with anti-tuberculosis drugs, and purulent cases should be treated with effective antibiotics. Treatment of pericarditis itself includes:

(1) General treatment: rest, pain relief, and taking aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs. For patients with severe chest pain, 30-40 mg/day of prednisone can be used, and the dosage can be gradually reduced after 5-7 days for 2-3 weeks. This can not only quickly improve symptoms, but also accelerate the absorption of new effusion.

(2) Pericardiocentesis and surgical treatment: When pericardial effusion causes cardiac tamponade, pericardiocentesis should be performed to drain the fluid. If pericardiocentesis is ineffective, pericardiotomy or pericardiectomy can be performed.

Prevention is better than cure, so how to prevent pericarditis? Clinical prevention of this disease mainly includes active treatment of the primary disease, such as tuberculosis, rheumatic fever, sepsis, etc. At the same time, you should strengthen exercise to improve your body's resistance. Be careful in your daily life, eat in moderation, and regulate your emotions.

Folk remedies for treating pericarditis:

(1) Hawthorn and peach kernel dew: 1000 grams of fresh hawthorn, 100 grams of peach kernel, and 250 grams of honey. Boil the hawthorn, peach kernel, and honey together into a decoction, then cool and condense into dew. Take 1 teaspoon each time, once a day. One course of treatment is 3 months. It can promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. Suitable for pericarditis.

(2) Black bean and carp soup: 30 grams of black beans and 1 carp. Wash the black beans and stuff them into the fish's belly. Add water and cook until it becomes a thick soup. Take once a day. Promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, promote diuresis and reduce swelling. Suitable for pericarditis.

People who suffer from pericarditis will feel chest pain, difficulty breathing, enlarged liver, and pale complexion. The general causes are bacterial infection, uremia, trauma, etc. So after reading the above treatment methods, what we need to do is pay attention to daily care to prevent pericarditis attacks from the root.
