Membranous nephropathy stage II and uremia

Membranous nephropathy stage II and uremia

I believe everyone is aware that uremia is a very harmful kidney disease. Uremia is not an independent disease, but a common clinical syndrome of various advanced kidney diseases. Therefore, uremia is closely related to many diseases. When suffering from a kidney disease, the most typical is the development of uremia. So, what is the relationship between membranous nephropathy stage II and uremia? Let’s take a look below.

The causes of stage II membranous nephropathy and uremia are different. Membranous nephropathy can be divided into idiopathic and secondary membranous nephropathy according to the cause of the disease. The occurrence of idiopathic membranous nephropathy is related to anti-phospholipase A2 receptor antibodies. Secondary membranous nephropathy is caused by drugs, toxins, diseases or environmental factors. Uremia is caused by loss of kidney function.

The clinical symptoms of stage II membranous nephropathy and uremia are also different. Patients with stage II membranous nephropathy will have clinical symptoms such as massive proteinuria, hypoproteinemia, severe edema, and hyperlipidemia. Patients may also experience swelling in the lower limbs or face. Severely ill patients may develop abdominal and pleural effusions. Patients with uremia will experience metabolic acidosis and water and electrolyte imbalance. Patients will experience multi-system symptoms, and the clinical symptoms of uremia are very complex.

The treatments for stage II membranous nephropathy and uremia are also different. Stage II MN is mainly treated with immunosuppressants. Glucocorticoids and cyclophosphamide are common treatments. Stage II MN is curable. There is currently no cure for uremia. The patient's kidney function has completely disappeared. The patient needs hemodialysis to stay alive.

The above is the difference between stage II membranous nephropathy and uremia. Although stage II MN and uremia are both kidney diseases, they are completely different diseases. Stage II membranous nephropathy and uremia are both very serious diseases. If you unfortunately suffer from membranous nephropathy or uremia, you must receive timely treatment, otherwise your life will be threatened.
