Dominant bacteria: Gram-positive bacilli

Dominant bacteria: Gram-positive bacilli

The dominant bacteria are Gram-positive bacilli. This microorganism mainly lives in the female genitals. Under normal circumstances, it has no effect on our body and forms a balanced state with other bacteria. We still need to understand the impact of the dominant Gram-positive coli on the body. Once this type of microorganism increases, the balance will be lost, which will cause symptoms such as vaginitis or increased vaginal discharge, so we should make timely adjustments.

Normally, there is a group of microorganisms living in a woman's vagina, including the familiar probiotics - Lactobacillus. Like the digestive tract, in a healthy human body, the flora in the vagina is also in a balanced state, which inhibits the growth and reproduction of pathogenic bacteria. However, this balance is very fragile and can be easily broken.

The female private parts are themselves a microecological environment, in which the dominant probiotics play a role in inhibiting harmful bacteria. When the dominant position of the probiotic community is broken, causing microecological imbalance, it will become a breeding ground for pathogenic bacteria. Although the use of drug sterilization methods solves the surface problems, it also invisibly destroys the balance of vaginal microbial flora. The next time pathogenic bacteria attack, the female body will be powerless to resist. This is also the root cause of the high recurrence rate of vaginal itching, odor, etc. To be a woman with healthy private parts and maintain the youthful reproductive state of the vagina, it is necessary to use beneficial bacteria to rebuild the vaginal beneficial bacteria environment and enhance vaginal immunity. Beauty comes from the inside out. A healthy and youthful vagina is far more important than your appearance. Only when your private parts are healthy can your external appearance truly radiate beauty and youth.

Causes

1. Bacterial vaginosis: In a normal vagina, lactobacilli that produce hydrogen peroxide are dominant. Bacterial vaginosis is an endogenous mixed infection caused by a decrease in Lactobacillus and an increase in Gardnerella and anaerobic bacteria in the vagina.

2. Candidal vaginitis

(1) 80% to 90% of pathogens are Candida albicans, which grow easily in an acidic environment and are diphasic (yeast phase and hyphae phase).

(2) The patient's vaginal pH is 4.0-4.7, usually <4.5.

(3) Conditionally pathogenic bacteria (yeast phase → mycelium phase). (4) Common causes: pregnancy, diabetes, and large-scale use of immunosuppressants and broad-spectrum antibiotics.

(5) Other contributing factors: gastrointestinal Candida, wearing tight synthetic underwear, and obesity.

3. Trichomonas vaginitis

(1) Trichomonas vaginalis grows best in a humid environment with a temperature of 25℃ to 40℃ and a pH of 5.2 to 6.6.

(2) The vaginal pH changes before and after menstruation, becoming close to neutral after menstruation, making it easier for Trichomonas to reproduce.

(3) The vaginal pH of patients is generally between 5.0 and 6.5, and most of them are > 6.0.

(4) Parasitic on the vagina, urethra or paraurethral glands, bladder, renal pelvis, male foreskin folds, urethra, and prostate. (5) Often coexists with other vaginitis.

4. Senile vaginitis in postmenopausal women due to ovarian dysfunction, decreased estrogen levels, vaginal wall atrophy, thinning of the mucosa, increased pH in the vagina, reduced local resistance, other pathogens over-multiply or easily invade and cause inflammation, mainly aerobic bacteria.

5. Vaginitis in young girls is caused by poor development of the vulva, low estrogen levels, and foreign bodies in the vagina, which trigger infection. Common pathogens include Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, etc.
