Symptoms of gastrointestinal disorder

Symptoms of gastrointestinal disorder

Everyone should distinguish that the symptoms of gastrointestinal dysfunction are very different from those of usual acute enteritis and gastritis. The occurrence of inflammation can be improved immediately with medication, and the condition will improve after a period of Western medicine treatment. However, when gastrointestinal dysfunction occurs, many symptoms appear at the same time, and abdominal pain, bloating, nausea and vomiting are more typical. When symptoms of gastrointestinal dysfunction appear, you need to improve your diet appropriately and your stomach and intestines also need to be slowly adjusted.

1. Frequent feeling of abdominal discomfort, dull abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting, etc. Sometimes it is severe, sometimes it becomes mild. You can't eat raw, cold, or spicy food, nor can you eat too much or greasy food, and you can't even eat fruit. The most obvious symptom is eating raw or cold food. Soon after eating, you will experience abdominal discomfort, obvious abdominal bloating, or dull abdominal pain, followed by frequent bowel movements, with some stools being mushy, foamy, or watery, and containing undigested food.

2. I have been having frequent bowel movements, more than twice a day, and the amount of stool is large. It feels like I excrete more than I eat. There is a feeling of incomplete bowel movement.

3. Abnormal bowel movements occur frequently. When you don’t think too much about this problem, your bowel movements will not be very abnormal. But when you think too much about this problem, your bowel movements will become abnormal, which is largely related to emotional fluctuations.

4. It may also be accompanied by dull pain in the upper abdomen, bloating, and may also be complicated by chronic gastritis. There are also symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bitter taste in the mouth, bland taste in the mouth, and occasional belching and heartburn. Bowel sounds increase and intestinal motility speeds up.

5. Poor sleep and frequent intermittent insomnia. It may be difficulty falling asleep, or poor sleep quality, frequent dreams, feeling like you haven't slept even after falling asleep, sleep time less than 4 hours, and early awakening. It is more likely to suffer from insomnia when you are in a bad mood or under stress.

Many people have used drugs to treat gastrointestinal dysfunction for more than two or three years for the above various clinical manifestations. The symptoms are sometimes better and sometimes worse. If they do not pay attention to their diet or mood, the symptoms will recur and the patients will suffer greatly. According to the patient's symptoms and emotion-related manifestations, combined with the assessment of the anxiety scale, it was considered to be anxiety-related gastrointestinal dysfunction, so anti-anxiety drugs were added. For some patients, the symptoms completely disappeared after half a month of treatment, and if they continued to take the combined drugs for two or three months, they could be clinically cured. Experts warn that if you find gastrointestinal dysfunction that has not been cured for a long time, you should be alert to the possibility of concurrent anxiety disorder.
