How to test the quality of eggs?

How to test the quality of eggs?

There are many reasons that may lead to a decline in the quality of women's eggs. If the egg quality is found to be poor through testing, it can be improved through diet. First of all, women can eat more animal blood, such as pig blood, duck blood, chicken blood, etc. This is very helpful for improving egg quality. In addition, you must eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and you can also eat some seaweed foods. So what methods can be used to detect the quality of eggs?

How to test the quality of eggs?

1. How to tell if the egg quality is high?

How to tell whether the egg quality is high or not? Nowadays, people generally use follicle development to measure the quality of eggs. Therefore, if you want to know whether the quality of your eggs is high, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for ultrasound monitoring on the 12th day of your menstrual cycle. Monitoring the development of follicles through B-ultrasound is currently the most accurate and intuitive method. Of course, if you don’t want to go to the hospital, you can also measure your basal body temperature.

Method 1: Basal body temperature measurement method

How to measure:

1. First, you need to buy a basal thermometer. The basal thermometer is different from the general thermometer. Its scale is denser, and generally 36.7 degrees Celsius (24 on the scale) is used as the boundary between high and low temperatures.

2. Buy a basal body temperature chart (available in hospitals, available for download online, or you can make one yourself using an Excel spreadsheet online), record the measured body temperature every day, and make it appear as a wavy line;

3. It is best to place the thermometer next to your pillow. You need to open your eyes in the morning and take the oral temperature measurement before you speak or move. Generally, the temperature under the tongue is taken as the standard.

4. For those who have difficulty waking up on time every day, you can set an alarm clock to wake you up;

5. If you have a cold or fever, drank alcohol the night before, or used an electric blanket, your body temperature may not be accurate. Use with caution during pregnancy preparation and prevent colds.

How to observe:

1. In a month, women's physiological changes are roughly divided into before and after ovulation, which are scientifically called "follicular phase" and "luteal phase". Generally, the basal body temperature in the follicular phase is 36.5℃. If the luteal phase rises by more than 0.5℃ and the high temperature lasts for more than ten days, it means ovulation. If there is no temperature rise in the later stage of the single-phase type, it indicates no ovulation, and its accuracy rate is 70%~80%;

2. The high temperature period after the rise will last for 12-16 days. If the high temperature period is longer, it will indicate that the egg quality is good. If it continues for more than 20 days, you may be pregnant. If there is no pregnancy, the corpus luteum shrinks and stops secreting progesterone, and the body temperature will begin to drop until it returns to the baseline, which is the body temperature at the time of the last menstruation. This means that the menstruation is coming again.

3. If the body temperature rises by 0.3-0.6 degrees Celsius within 24 hours on a certain day during the ovulation period, it means that ovulation has occurred on that day;

4. If no temperature changes before or after ovulation are measured this month, it means that the quality of the eggs this month is not very good and no dominant follicles are discharged.

Method 2: Observe premenstrual secretions

When a woman ovulates, due to the stimulation of higher concentrations of female hormones, she secretes a transparent and sticky substance that looks like egg white. In other words, the outflow of transparent secretions before the menstrual period indicates that the hormone secretion is good and the quality of the eggs will naturally not be bad.

Of course, the above two methods are relatively rough. If you want to get more accurate results, you can only go to the hospital for hormone testing before your period.
