Symptoms of venous sclerosis

Symptoms of venous sclerosis

The reason why hypertension is terrible is not only because hypertension itself can bring many problems to patients, but more importantly, hypertension can also bring many complications to patients. Among them, vascular sclerosis is a common complication caused by hypertension, and the most common type of vascular sclerosis is arterial vascular sclerosis. In fact, there is also a disease called venous vascular sclerosis. So what symptoms will a person experience when he suffers from venous atherosclerosis?

You should pay attention to the health of your arteries and have regular checks on arteriosclerosis.

Differential diagnosis of vascular sclerosis:

1. Vascular malformation: Vascular tumor is also called tubular tumor, or hemangioma, lymphangioma; but some vascular lesions are not true tumors and can only be called vascular malformation. A tumor or malformation originating from blood vessels or lymphatic vessels. Generally speaking, vascular malformation is a group of abnormal mature blood vessels with certain space-occupying properties, and its harm is mainly due to rupture and bleeding, or vascular embolism.

2. Diffuse vascular keratosis: ceramide trihexosidosis, inherited as an X-linked recessive trait. It was first discovered and reported by Fabry and Anderson (1898). The incidence is about 1/40,000, and the vast majority are hemizygous males. It has been found in all ethnic groups and has been reported many times in China.

3. Thinning of blood vessel walls: Capillaries are the smallest and most widely distributed blood vessels. They branch out and fit together to form a web. The density of the capillary network in various organs and tissues varies greatly. Tissues and organs with high metabolism, such as skeletal muscle, myocardium, lungs, kidneys and many glands, have a dense capillary network; tissues with low metabolism, such as bones, tendons and ligaments, have a sparse capillary network.

Diet

A reasonable diet can prevent and treat arteriosclerosis. Since elevated blood lipids are the main cause of arteriosclerosis, the purpose of dietary prevention and treatment is to effectively control blood lipids. The principles of a reasonable diet can be summarized as follows:

1. Properly control total calories: can keep weight within the normal standard range. Overweight and obese people should control their daily food intake, but dietary control should be gradual and combined with exercise therapy. A weight loss of 0.5 to 1 kg per month is sufficient. Try to eat less sugar and candies and cakes with high sugar content.

2. Eat less high-cholesterol foods: High-cholesterol foods such as animal offal, preserved eggs, etc. should be eaten as little as possible, especially for those with elevated plasma cholesterol, which should be strictly controlled, but sufficient protein intake must be ensured. Although egg yolks contain high cholesterol, they contain lecithin, which has a preventive and therapeutic effect on arteriosclerosis. They can be consumed appropriately, but not more than 2 eggs a day.

3. Eat less animal oil (lard): To prevent and treat arteriosclerosis, you should eat more unsaturated fatty acids, mainly vegetable oils. Because animal oils are mainly saturated fatty acids, you should eat as little as possible, but you cannot completely avoid eating animal oils, otherwise it will bring some other adverse effects to the body. Generally, the ratio of animal oil to vegetable oil should be about 1:3.

4. Eat more foods rich in vitamins and fiber: Various vitamins have the effect of lowering cholesterol and preventing arteriosclerosis. You can eat more foods rich in vitamins and fiber, such as fresh fruits, beans, and vegetables. Don't eat too refined staple foods, because the germ of cereals contains rich vitamin E and other beneficial ingredients.
