Camellia essential oil and the efficacy and function of essential oil

Maybe many people have no idea about camellia essential oil, and they think it is just a kind of oil, similar to ordinary rapeseed oil and peanut oil, but in fact there are big differences between them, and they are completely different. You should know that there are differences between camellia oil and essential oils. The essential oil made from camellia is one kind, and essential oils have expanded to many types, so camellia essential oil is also included in the types of essential oils.

The difference between camellia oil and essential oil:

Camellia Oil:

Camellia oil is originally produced in China. Since ancient times, there is a saying that "a thousand-year-old tea tree produces two taels of oil". Since the essence must be extracted and the extremely precious flower oil is processed with complicated workmanship, the production of camellia oil is very low and extremely precious. Historically, Li Shizhen's "Compendium of Materia Medica" also mentioned "For burns from hot water or fire, apply sesame oil; for women with hair straightening, grind it into powder and mix it with the oil", which talks about the skin care effect of camellia oil. The reason for this is that it contains a high level of oleic acid, which can help the skin lock in moisture and nutrients and better nourish the skin.

Essential Oils:

Essential oils are volatile aromatic substances extracted from the flowers, leaves, stems, roots or fruits of plants through steam distillation, pressing, cold soaking or solvent extraction. Essential oils are divided into diluted (compound essential oils) and undiluted (single essential oils), such as cactus seed oil.

Camellia oil extraction method:

The non-volatile oil extracted from camellia seeds is not highly concentrated. Through physical purification technology, after drying, screening, cold pressing, refining and other processes, camellia oil with high active ingredients and few impurities is extracted. The main components are oleic acid, squalene, vitamin E, etc.

Essential oil extraction method:

Essential oils are volatile aromatic substances extracted from the flowers, leaves, stems, roots or fruits of plants through steam distillation, extrusion, cold soaking or solvent extraction. They are highly concentrated and their main components are terpenes, esters, etc. Essential oil is not actually oil, but it is called "oil" because of its high fluidity.

Camellia oil application method:

Camellia oil does not need to be diluted and can be applied directly to the skin to nourish the skin.

Essential oil application method:

Pure essential oils are very irritating, so they should not be applied directly to the skin without dilution. If applied directly to the skin, it will cause damage.
