How to dry roses

Roses are beautiful and charming, and I believe that many female friends love them very much. However, the flowers can only be preserved for a very short time after being picked. Many girls who receive roses do not want this beauty to disappear too quickly and hope to preserve it for a longer time. Therefore, making them into dried roses becomes the first choice, but many people do not know this method. So, how do you dry roses?

First, how do you dry roses? First, remove the leaves at the lower 1/3 of the rose stem. Also remove the insect-infested, diseased, and brown leaves and clean them thoroughly. Tie 3 flowers into a bunch at the leafless stems. Be careful not to let the stems and leaves overlap when tying (the best shape is like your three middle fingers held up), and the flower heads should be separated. Hang the tied bouquet upside down in a cool, dry and ventilated place (an air conditioning vent is a good choice as it will dry much faster). Or you can prepare a small hook, hang the roses upside down, and place them in a well-ventilated but dark place, such as the kitchen roof or an empty cabinet. Let it air dry for about 15 days until there is no moisture left.

Second, place the rose petals on dry paper. It is best to choose a light-shielding base paper, such as newspaper, cardboard napkins, etc. Make it into the shape you like, and of course it will remain the same when pressed out. Place another piece of paper on top to hold it down. Place large, heavy objects such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc. on top of the paper. You can also use heavy boxes or wood. Wait 1-3 weeks and the embossing is complete. You can appreciate the smooth and beautiful embossing like a work of art!

How to dry roses? Microwave drying (fastest) Materials: silica gel powder, paper teacup or heat-resistant container, scissors, tweezers, and of course a microwave oven. First, spread 2-3 cm high silica gel powder in a heat-resistant container. (Don't use a metal container) Leave 2-3 cm of stem for the flower (discard the rest), then place the flower face up in the container (if making multiple branches at the same time, leave some space between each flower when placing them, don't place them next to each other). After putting the flowers in, slowly pour in the silica gel powder until the flowers are completely buried. Heat the whole thing in the microwave (500 watts) for about 1 minute, then gently use tweezers to remove the flower and clean off the silicone powder.
