1. Promote blood circulation and eliminate symptoms (mass masses, amenorrhea). It is used to treat masses, often in combination with rhubarb, turtle shell, etc.; it is used to treat blood stasis and amenorrhea, often in combination with safflower, peach kernel, etc. This product is good at moving around and is dispersing in nature.

2. To promote menstruation (rheumatic pain, stroke paralysis) It is used to treat rheumatic pain, limb cramps, and is often used together with Notopterygium wilfordii, White Flower Snake, etc.; It is used to treat stroke paralysis and joint discomfort, and can be ground into powder with Chuanwu and other medicines for external application. 3. Lactation (postpartum milk deficiency) is used to treat insufficient milk, milk obstruction, and breast pain after childbirth. It can be ground into powder alone and taken with wine; it can also be used in combination with fenugreek. This product is an important medicine for treating postpartum milk retention.

4. Reduce swelling and discharge pus (carbuncle, scrofula). When used to treat the initial stage of carbuncle, it is often used together with Chinese honeysuckle thorn, honeysuckle, etc., such as Xianfang Huomingyin; when used to treat carbuncle with pus but not yet ulcerated, it is used in combination with astragalus, Chinese honeysuckle thorn and other drugs, such as Tounongsan; if used to treat scrofula, it can be used in combination with Prunella vulgaris, Fritillaria, etc. This product can dissipate pus that has not yet formed and quickly burst pus that has already formed.
