Everyone should have different types of shoes in their shoe cabinets, and travel shoes are a kind of casual shoes, so most people should have them in their shoe cabinets. People who have worn hiking shoes should know that although hiking shoes are very comfortable to wear, due to their very complex structure, they are also difficult to clean. So how should travel shoes be cleaned? How to wash sneakers 1. Soak the upper and lining of the shoe Throw the shoes into a basin and fill 2/3 of the basin with clean water. The washing temperature should not be higher than 45 degrees Celsius. Let the shoes be soaked in water. Ordinary sports shoes can be washed with water, but detergent cannot be used because it contains phosphorus, which can easily turn the shoes yellow. Brush the heels with a toothbrush dipped in toothpaste. After washing, put a layer of white paper on the shoe surface to ensure that the shoes do not change color after drying. If the shoes are soaked for a long time, it will also affect the use of the shoes. So don't soak your shoes in water, and don't just throw them in a basin like you would soak dirty clothes and leave them there, only to wash them half a day later. This will cause the shoes to come apart easily after they dry, which is not worth the effort. Don't do this with branded shoes, it will be a big loss. When cleaning, try not to use machine washing or soaking. If you wash your sneakers in a washing machine, it will greatly damage the shoes, causing them to degumming, deform, and other quality problems, leaving you with regret. 2. Clean the odor in the shoes It is best to use white wine or white vinegar for a thorough clean. After cleaning the shoes, get a basin of warm water, add a small amount of white vinegar, and soak the shoes in it for about half an hour. If it is a normal situation, you can also just sprinkle white wine. Because white wine is highly volatile, it can also remove the odor of sports shoes very well when it evaporates. 3. Remove and wash shoelaces and insoles If the shoelaces are not removed, it is not easy to thoroughly clean the outdoor sports shoes, because the brush cannot penetrate deep into the shoes and naturally cannot clean them cleanly. Therefore, you must remove the shoelaces and clean them before washing the shoes. You can just rub the shoelaces with soap, which is no different from washing clothes normally. 4. Clean the soles and linings of shoes Use a shoe brush to brush the soap first, then brush the soles and inside of the shoes. Brush both the outside and the inside carefully, wash the shoes repeatedly, pour out the dirty water and replace it with clean water. Soak your shoes in water. You don't need to use soap, just use a toothbrush to scrub them clean. If there are any small stones stuck in the glue seams of the soles, you can use a toothpick to pick them out. ①Mesh sneakers This is the most common and popular type of sports shoe. You don’t need to pay much attention to cleaning it. Just don’t use a plastic brush to brush the mesh surface. Because if you use a plastic brush, it will easily cause balls and hair to appear on the mesh surface. When choosing cleaning tools, it is best to choose a soft-bristled brush. This can ensure that the shoes can be cleaned quickly and prevent the shoe surface from being scratched, causing unnecessary scars. Use an old toothbrush, but don't use one with curly bristles. You can also buy a new toothbrush with softer bristles for more than 3 yuan and use it as a special shoe brush. You can also use a shoe brush. If it is a professional track and field shoe, it is okay, but if it is an ordinary running shoe, it will damage the mesh surface. ②Leather sports shoes Try to avoid cleaning the leather with water. Generally, it is wiped with a towel. This is to protect the leather. You know, genuine leather sneakers are very expensive. If you don't pay attention during the maintenance process, the loss will be more than just a little. When washing brand-name sports shoes, the water temperature should not be higher than 45 degrees. Because in a high temperature environment, shoes are prone to deformation, which will damage the quality of the shoes. When cleaning, it is best to use special detergents to prevent corrosion to the shoes. The leather surface can only be washed with clean water. Do not add any detergent, otherwise the leather will turn yellow and crack. Avoid contact with organic reagents and oil solutions. The pH value of the cleaner for leather sports shoes should be between 5-7.5 (not greater than 7.5), and it is best to use oil (which can be tested by the combustion method: put leather oil on toilet paper and burn it). It must not contain leather-damaging cleaners and solvents. The effect of cream washing is still good, but it needs to be mixed with hot water. Do not rinse with water at the end, but wipe dry with soft foam. 5. Shake off the water and dry the shoes Shake-dry the shoes. This does not mean you have to put them in a washing machine. You can use your thumbs to press and squeeze out some water from the spongy areas at the front and heel of the shoes. Then grab the middle of the shoe sole with the heel in front and the toe facing behind you, and start swinging your arms back and forth a few times. The more times you swing the shoe, the better it will be. You can use shoelaces to randomly pierce a few holes, then tie them to a triangular clothes rack, and hang one shoe on each side like clothes to dry in a ventilated place that is not exposed to the sun. It is best to prop up the inside of genuine leather shoes with paper balls or shoe trays to prevent serious deformation. Excessive exposure to the sun, heat from a hair dryer, and improper care can shorten the life of your shoes. Therefore, after cleaning, place the shoes with the toes facing down in a ventilated place to dry. Drying the shoes at room temperature can prevent water from seeping into the midsole foam material. Using a shoe stretcher will help the shoes return to their original shape. Stuffing newspapers in the shoes will not only help the shoes return to their original shape, but also quickly absorb moisture in the shoes. After the shoes are dry, take out the newspapers and let the shoes air for a while. 6. Daily shoe maintenance For leather maintenance, use shoe polish. When you are not wearing the shoes, wipe them clean and then apply shoe polish to maintain the overall color of the shoes. It is best to put it in the box you bought the shoes in. Mesh sneakers require some care when maintaining them, and they should be supported when not worn. Because if the mesh shoes are not supported, they will easily deform. If you don't wear it for a long time, the effect will not be very good. |
