We all know that for some children, only by educating them to develop some good habits from an early age can they become pillars of society when they grow up. Good habits are generally developed when they are young, so for children, enlightenment teachers are very important. Many children develop good habits in kindergartens, so what good habits do kindergartens need to develop? Habit (I): Cultivate children's good working habits and self-service awareness 1. In the early childhood, let children learn to take care of themselves and undertake some simple work in order to cultivate their independence and sense of personal obligations and responsibilities, and thereby further cultivate their sense of social responsibility. For example: when entering the kindergarten in the morning, ask the first child to arrive to help put the cups away; ask the first child to arrive in each group to help move the chairs of his or her group from the table and put them in order; after lunch, ask the children to take turns to help wipe the table and sweep the floor; before leaving school in the evening, ask each child to put his or her chair on the table and put it in order. As they grow older, they not only have to dress and undress independently, wash their faces and hands, but also wash their own handkerchiefs and socks. 2. At home, you can let your child play the role of a teacher, teaching dad and mom to do things and consolidating the skills they have learned. Parents can let children know that they should do their own things by telling stories such as "Do your own things" and "I am mom and dad's little helper", sing "Labor is the Most Glorious" with their children, and watch related TV programs, so as to stimulate children's desire to do things by themselves. 3. In school, you can also use games such as "feeding younger brothers and sisters" and "dressing dolls" to teach children some labor skills. Through these games, children will learn some basic skills such as eating, dressing, and tidying up toys. This method is in line with the psychological characteristics of young children, is natural and friendly, lively and effective, and has obvious results. Habits (II): Cultivate good living habits and independence in children 1. Cultivating good living habits must start from the little things in daily life and cannot be achieved by just a few rules. During this period, when taking care of the child's daily cleaning, you should gradually instill in him the knowledge and concepts of hygiene, tell him what is dirty and what is clean, educate him to wash his hands before meals and after defecation, not to eat dirty things, not to spit, not to suck his fingers, not to pick his nose, and not to pick his ears, and to develop the habit of cleanliness and hygiene. It is necessary to trim children's fingernails and toenails regularly. During this period, children's hands are always touching things everywhere, so their fingernails are bound to be very dirty. When washing your child's face and hands, you should start teaching him to wash his hands by himself, teach him how to apply soap and how to wash his hands. 2. Developing good eating habits is not an easy task and cannot be achieved overnight. There are many children who are not focused when eating, look around, and eat very slowly. In addition, as children grow older, the need for communication between children continues to increase, and the phenomenon of talking while eating also increases. Teachers' reminders are not a good way to solve the problem. Only by mobilizing children's internal factors and stimulating their self-motivation can children change from passive to active and consciously abide by discipline. Those who eat seriously, don’t talk, eat fast and are not picky about food will get a “red apple”. 3. After a long time, the children all competed to be "big kids" and no longer needed teachers to remind them like "little kids". Bad habits such as talking while eating, inattention, looking around, and eating slowly were reduced a lot. Eating was no longer a problem for the children. At home, parents should also cultivate their children's good habit of chewing slowly, and help them finish each meal within the specified time, but they should not rush them. Do not serve too much rice each time. It is better to add more after the child has finished eating to motivate the child to eat more. |
