In our lives, we can often see some small white insects. These insects look particularly white and small in size. They look harmless, but they are very harmful. They can easily make food, flowers and plants at home sick. Moreover, they feed on rice and carry a lot of bacteria themselves, which can easily spread diseases. So what should we do if there are small white insects at home?

Aphids are small white insects. Pollution-free disease prevention and pest control methods:

(1) Sprinkling wood ash on the surface of pots regularly can significantly reduce the incidence of gray mold in flowers such as peonies, tulips, and cyclamen. At the same time, it can increase the absorption rate of potted flowers to potassium fertilizers, thereby promoting strong branches and bright colors.

(2) Wood ash soaking method: Mix 0.5 kg of wood ash with 2.5 kg of water, soak for one day and night, filter out impurities, and then spray the filtrate on the affected plants. This can effectively kill aphids on plum blossoms, roses, pomegranates, longevity peaches, etc.

(3) Vinegar wiping method: Use 50 ml of vinegar (rice vinegar), soak a cotton ball in the vinegar, and then use the cotton ball dipped in vinegar to gently wipe the stems and leaves of the flowers. This can not only kill scale insects, but also make the leaves that have been damaged by scale insects return to green and shiny again.

(4) Alcohol Wiping Method: Use alcohol to gently and repeatedly wipe the diseased leaves of orchids infected with scale insects. This will remove the insects. Even larvae that are invisible to the naked eye can be completely killed. In the second year, scale insect damage is rarely found.

(5) Iodine smearing method: If the trunk of the bonsai is rotten, you can use a blade wiped with iodine to scrape off all the rotten parts, deep into the wood, and then apply iodine. Apply it again after 7 to 10 days. Not only can it be completely cured, but over time, the spots and tumors on the trunk will stand out, making it look more ancient and unique.

(6) Baking soda spraying method: Spray the affected plants with 0.1% baking soda solution. The prevention and control rate of powdery mildew on roses, chrysanthemums, impatiens, hibiscus, cineraria and other flowers can reach more than 80%.

(7) Silicon calcium fertilizer is a new type of fertilizer. When fertilizing flowers, you can mix a little silicon calcium fertilizer and apply it. After the flowers absorb it, it can increase the hardness of the epidermal cells of the flowers, thereby increasing their ability to resist pests.

(8) Urea foliar fertilization method: When flowers are attacked by pests such as aphids, red spiders, and thrips, spray them with 20% urea solution once every 10 days for 2 to 3 times. This will not only kill the above pests, but also make the leaves of the plants bright green and shiny.

(9) Tobacco infusion method: Soak 40 grams of tobacco powder in 1 kilogram of water, soak for 24 hours, filter, and spray on the affected plants 2 to 3 times with an interval of 5 days. This can prevent and control red spider mites, aphids, etc.
