Can baby bottles be washed with detergent?

We all know that when it comes to baby bottles, parents generally choose the best for their children, because children's body resistance is relatively low when they are young. If there are some plastic or other substances in the bottle, it is likely to cause harm to the baby's body. In order to prevent the growth of bacteria in the bottle, many mothers will scald the baby's bottle with hot water every day, which can effectively kill some bacteria. So can the bottle be cleaned with detergent?

Do not use detergent to clean the bottle, because the residual detergent can easily be ingested by the baby, which is very unhealthy. So how can we clean the baby bottles correctly and safely?

1. Pour clean water into the bottle and shake it to rinse the remaining contents in the bottle and then pour it out;

2. Remove the bottle cap and nipple

3. Add bottle cleaner and water, and shake the bottle for about 5-10 seconds;

3. Use a bottle brush to carefully clean the inner layer, bottom, bottleneck and thread of the bottle.

4. Wash with clean water.

Note: It is best to use a hard-bristled brush for glass bottles and a soft-bristled brush for plastic bottles.

Boil and sterilize baby bottles

1. Remove the nipple and bottle cap;

2. Prepare a stainless steel pot specially used for sterilizing baby bottles, pour clean water into it, and completely cover the milk bottles to be sterilized;

3. Put the bottle into a pot and boil the water.

Tips:

a. Put the glass baby bottle into the pot with cold water at the same time. After the water boils for 5-10 minutes, put in the pacifier, bottle cap and other plastic products. Cover the pot and cook for another 3-5 minutes before turning off the heat.

b. For plastic bottles, wait until the water boils, then put the bottles, nipples and bottle caps into the pot for sterilization. Boil for about 3-5 minutes. Wait until the water cools down a little, then use a sterilized bottle clip to remove the nipples and bottle caps, put them in a clean and ventilated place, and turn them upside down to drain.
