About enzymes: Enzymes were rarely added to laundry detergents in the early years, probably mainly due to cost considerations. In recent years, various brand-name laundry detergents almost all contain enzymes in varying proportions. Enzyme is a specific biological catalyst. Protease can catalyze the hydrolysis of meat, egg, and milk stains; amylase can catalyze the hydrolysis of sauce, porridge and other stains; lipase can catalyze the hydrolysis of various animal and plant oils, human sebaceous gland secretions and cosmetic stains; cellulase can brighten fabrics and remove granular dirt. In the past, a single protease was mostly used, but now a complex enzyme with multiple components is generally used.

Then the main ingredients of dishwashing liquid are sodium alkyl sulfonate, sodium fatty alcohol ether sulfate, foaming agent, solubilizer, flavor, water, pigment, etc. There are active ingredients in them that can reduce the surface tension of water, turning oil and water into turbid liquid. Through scrubbing, the oil can be completely washed away with the water.
