Rock sugar water plus soap kills mosquitoes

Rock sugar water plus soap kills mosquitoes

In summer, not only is the hot weather annoying, but what is even more uncomfortable is the presence of mosquitoes flying around everywhere. Mosquitoes are generally very annoying creatures because they like to drink human blood. Once a mosquito bites human skin, mosquito bites of varying sizes will form mosquito bites on the skin surface. Therefore, many folk remedies have been developed to fight mosquitoes. Can rock sugar water mixed with soap kill mosquitoes?

Mosquitoes like dark and humid environments, especially water environments. They will lay eggs in water. Depending on the species, mosquito eggs may be laid in three different locations: on the water surface, at the water's edge, or in the water. The eggs on the water surface include Anopheles and House mosquitoes, and the eggs at the water's edge include Aedes. Anopheles and house mosquitoes hatch in about two days, while Aedes take three to five days. Sugar water attracts mosquitoes to lay eggs in it. If the sugar water is thick enough, it can stick to the mosquitoes. This is a long-term process of killing mosquitoes. It will be better to replace the sugar water with soapy water or laundry detergent water. Soapy water and laundry detergent water can kill the mosquito larvae in the water.

Additional information:

White sugar is refined sugar made from molasses extracted from sugar cane and sugar beets. White sugar is white, clean and sweet. White sugar contains carbohydrates, which are one of the main sources of nutrition for the human body. The human body's consumption is maintained by the heat energy generated by the oxidation of carbohydrates. About 70% of the energy required for human activities is supplied by carbohydrates.

Dilute solutions of sucrose are susceptible to infection by microorganisms, but the chance of infection decreases as the sugar juice becomes more concentrated. In addition, it is also related to the temperature and pH value of the sugar juice. Generally, the optimum temperature for microbial reproduction is between 30 and 45°C, and when heated to 80°C, most microorganisms can be inhibited or killed.

The magical effect of white sugar:

1. Add some sugar and a little vinegar when stir-frying bitter gourd. It will not only reduce the bitterness, but also make the cooked dish taste particularly fragrant and delicious.

2. When cooking with soy sauce, the food often tastes sour. If you add some sugar while cooking, it will not be sour.

3. If the food is too salty, adding some sugar can reduce the saltiness.

4. Add some white sugar when mixing the dumpling filling, and the dumplings will have the fresh and fragrant dried shrimp flavor.

5. When stewing meat, fry sugar color. The stewed meat will be bright red, sweet and delicious, fat but not greasy.

6. Add a little sugar when cooking fish and meat dishes to make them taste fragrant and not greasy.

7. Add some sugar when pickling or making bacon to make the meat tender and fresh.

8. Add some sugar to the refined lard, stir well and seal it to preserve the mellow aroma of the lard.

9. When cooking ham, first apply some white sugar on the ham skin. The ham skin will be easier to cook and the taste will be more fragrant and delicious.

10. When soaking dried products such as shiitake mushrooms and scallops, adding some white sugar to the water can shorten the soaking time.

11. Before cooking chestnuts, soak them in sugar water overnight. The inner skin of the chestnuts will be easily removed after cooking.

12. Put the fried sugar in a paper bag to act as a moisture absorber; put it in the refrigerator to act as a deodorizer.
