Why can't I have my teeth extracted in the afternoon?

There are some requirements for tooth extraction. It cannot be done at any time. Instead, you have to carefully select a patient and only extract the tooth when the patient's body allows and he is energetic. Many people do not recommend tooth extraction in the afternoon because at this stage, the patient's physical condition is not as good as in the morning, and tooth extraction may have some side effects, which requires special attention.

You can't extract teeth in the afternoon.

In fact, tooth extraction is also a surgery. The tooth extraction process is a small matter, but some details before and after the tooth extraction are big matters.

1. It is not recommended to extract teeth in the afternoon because the energy and physical strength of doctors and patients are not as good as in the morning.

2. There are no night clinics in the dental clinic now. If you have a tooth extracted in the morning, there is enough time to observe. If you encounter post-operative bleeding and other conditions, you can go to the clinic for treatment in time. If the tooth is extracted in the afternoon, in case of postoperative bleeding, the doctor may be off duty and unable to deal with it in time.

3. After a tooth is extracted, the wound will have an initial coagulation process. If you go home to sleep after having a tooth extracted in the afternoon or evening, the change in body position and the increase in local blood pressure can easily cause bleeding from the wound. This is why doctors generally recommend not lying down but walking around more after a tooth is extracted.

Of course, tooth extraction is not that rigid. If the patient really has to have a tooth extracted in the afternoon due to time constraints, the quality of the lunch should be ensured and the tooth should be extracted on an empty stomach to prevent hypoglycemia due to tension. If a diabetic patient has a tooth extracted in the morning, the best time is 1-2 hours after breakfast.

It is also possible to extract teeth at noon and in the afternoon. Nowadays, tooth extraction is generally done painlessly. There will not be much pain during or after the extraction. Therefore, there is no problem in extracting teeth at noon and in the afternoon.
