You only need to remember the four important health acupoints: Zhongwan, Zusanli, Guanyuan and Mingmen. Method: Gentle moxibustion with moxa sticks, 1 to 2 times a week in spring and summer, 2 to 3 times a week in autumn and winter, 15 minutes on each acupoint. Guanyuan Point: Also known as Dantian, it is located three inches below the navel and is one of the important tonifying points in the human body. Indications: impotence, premature ejaculation, nocturnal emission, spermatorrhea, enuresis, urinary retention, frequent urination, turbid urine, hematuria and other urinary and reproductive system diseases. Common gynecological diseases such as irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia, leukorrhea, and postpartum hemorrhage. Gastrointestinal diseases such as abdominal distension and pain, diarrhea, dysentery, rectal prolapse and constipation. Mingmen Point: Also known as Jinggong, it is a point on the Du Meridian, located below the second lumbar vertebra and opposite to the navel. Its qi is connected with the kidneys and it is the root of life. Indications: Five kinds of fatigue and seven kinds of injuries, low back pain due to injuries, frequent urination, enuresis, impotence, premature ejaculation and various symptoms of deficiency and cold. Zhongwan Point: Also known as Taicang, it is an acupoint on the Ren meridian, located four inches above the navel. It has the effects of regulating the stomach and harmonizing the middle, replenishing deficiency and invigorating Qi, and strengthening the spleen and eliminating dampness. Indications: epigastric pain, nausea and vomiting, hiccups, regurgitation, abdominal distension, diarrhea, ulcers, gastroptosis, superficial gastritis, gastric spasm, indigestion, enteritis, gastric neurosis and other gastrointestinal diseases, asthenia and fatigue, limb weakness and other symptoms. Zusanli Point: Three inches and one horizontal finger below the outer kneecap. It has the effects of nourishing the spleen and stomach, harmonizing qi and blood, expelling evil spirits and preventing diseases. It is the first important acupoint for health care. Indications: stomachache, abdominal distension, intestinal rumbling, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, edema, neurological diseases, acute and chronic mastitis, intestinal carbuncle, etc. Precautions for moxibustion: 1. People who are too hungry, too full, drunk, very frightened, very angry, crying, overworked or mentally stressed should not be treated with moxibustion. People with weak constitution should not be treated with too strong moxibustion. 2. Moxibustion is not suitable for areas with spontaneous bleeding or bleeding that does not stop after injury, or skin infection, ulcers, scars, etc.; be cautious when moxibustioning the eye area, neck area, chest and back. 3. Do not perform moxibustion one hour after a meal. Do not wash your hands or take a bath with cold water within half an hour after moxibustion. 4. After moxibustion, you should drink more warm water than usual to help the excretory organs excrete toxins from the body. Do not drink cold or ice water. 5. If you suddenly experience dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, palpitations, sweating, and pale face during moxibustion, it is moxibustion dizziness. Stop the moxibustion immediately and open the window for ventilation. 6. Moxa is flammable. Be sure to put out the fire after moxibustion to avoid fire. Also, be sure to prevent ashes from falling and burning the skin. 7. Pregnant women and children whose fontanelles have not closed should not receive moxibustion treatment during menstruation. Moxibustion should also be used with caution in patients with mental illness and other seriously ill patients who are not suitable for moxibustion therapy. 8.
