How can a crooked nose be corrected?

Everyone's facial features are acquired at birth, and the position of the nose bridge is also innate, but the love of beauty is everyone's nature. If a person's nose bridge is crooked, it will greatly affect the beauty of the face, which also causes great trouble to many people who love beauty. The problem of crooked nose is quite common in life. Such situation can usually be corrected through some methods, but different correction methods will bring different effects. If a woman wants to correct her nose, she must choose the method that suits her best, as some methods may leave certain sequelae. So how should a crooked nose be corrected?

1. Non-surgical correction

This method uses manual repositioning and does not require surgical intervention. Usually, this method is suitable for the nose within 2 weeks after it has been deformed due to trauma. This method can be used before the nose swells or after the edema disappears to return a nose that has been crooked due to external force to its original position.

2. Cartilage distortion correction surgery

This treatment method is to use surgery to correct the distorted cartilage tissue below the nasal bone, mainly in the lower part of the nose and the tip of the nose. This type of surgery is relatively small, not very complicated, and has better results.

3. Bone deflection correction

This is a relatively complicated surgery to correct the bone distortion of the nose. The nose may be bulging, sunken, twisted, etc. The distortion is mostly at the upper part of the nose bridge and the root of the nose, and is mostly caused by asymmetric bone tissue.

4. Note

The deflection of the nose bridge caused by internal factors mainly refers to the twisting of the nasal septum cartilage during its growth and development, or after trauma. This situation is generally corrected by removing part of the deformed cartilage, or by using some grafts and sutures. There are some traumatic nose distortions that, due to their particularity and variability, are generally recommended to be treated with open rhinoplasty surgery.
