Among the cultural relics unearthed from the Mawangdui Han Tomb in Changsha, Hunan are the silk book "Quegu Shiqi Pian" and the color silk painting "Daoyin Tu". "Quegu Shiqi Pian" is a book mainly introducing the breathing method. The Daoyintu can be regarded as the earliest qigong atlas, which contains 44 images and depicts how ancient people used qigong to prevent and treat diseases.
