Is coix seed and red bean effective in removing viral warts?

Warts are a disease of the skin on people's bodies. Such disease symptoms usually occur because a large number of bacteria invade people's skin. There are many types of warts, viral warts being one of them. It is also quite harmful to the human body, so under normal circumstances, if you find that you have viral warts in your body, you must go to the hospital for treatment. Barley and red beans are a type of food that people often say can remove dampness. But is coix seed and red beans effective in removing viral warts?

Warts are caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). In the past, these diseases were considered to be chronic benign diseases, but it was discovered that some HPV infections can lead to malignant tumors such as skin cancer, tongue cancer, and cervical cancer, which has attracted people's attention. Warts are a type of superficial benign skin growths caused by viruses and characterized by mainly cell proliferation reactions. After being infected, the disease develops after a dormant period of about four months. More common in teenagers.

Viral warts, also known as genital warts, are a sexually transmitted disease caused by infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV). It is common in male and female genitals, perianal area and other parts. Initially it appears as light red papules, which gradually become cauliflower-shaped, cockscomb-shaped, nipple-shaped, etc. It is easily contagious and has a high recurrence rate. Improper treatment or repeated attacks may lead to malignant lesions. Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection causes epidermal tumor-like hyperplasia in the genitals, perineum, anus and other parts (a few cases occur in the armpits, breasts, mouth, ears, throat and other parts). Genital warts often have no subjective symptoms, and are easily eroded and bleed when rubbed. A small number of patients experience pain and itching. Genital warts may cause pain in the anus, rectum, vagina, and cervix, pain during sexual intercourse, increased local secretions or leucorrhea, and a foul odor if secondary infection, increased secretions, or insufficient cleaning occurs. In patients with liver disease or during pregnancy, the warts may rapidly enlarge and the skin lesions may not heal for a long time.

Who needs to be examined and treated?

●Red spots and small papules appear on the genitals.

●There are cauliflower-like and cockscomb-like growths at the base of the tongue in the mouth.

●People who have close contact with patients with warts.

●When cracks or damage appear on the genital skin, it is most susceptible to infection.

Why are viral warts prone to recurrence?

● With roots: It is difficult to completely remove the wart roots with general drugs, lasers, and freezing. Especially after lasers and freezing, the wart roots can easily spread, turning the previous one root into two or more.

●Improper use of medication: The medication is not targeted and the dosage is insufficient, resulting in the virus not being completely eliminated from the body.

●Reinfection: One of the man and woman is cured, but the other is a virus carrier or subclinically infected, and relapse may occur through contact.

Viral warts are divided into several categories, including common warts (filiform warts, plantar warts, toe warts), flat warts, molluscum contagiosum, and genital warts.

Treatment

Treatment is mainly to eliminate skin lesions, antiviral or immune therapy.

1. Use external corrosive drugs to burn the warts. Generally, the warts will form scabs and fall off in 7-15 days after one-time use.

2. Physical therapy. There are CO2 laser, liquid nitrogen freezing, electrocautery, microwave, etc., but it is difficult to completely eliminate the subcutaneous virus, the recurrence rate is high, and the cost is relatively high.

3. The effects of internal and external interferon treatment or Chinese herbal decoction treatment are unclear and can only be used as auxiliary treatment methods.

4. Local immunotherapy. Commonly used diphenylcyclopropene ketone (dpcp).

diet

After treatment of genital warts, avoid spicy and irritating foods, such as chili peppers, seafood, tobacco and alcohol, beef, mutton, dog meat, carp, onions, garlic, leeks, coriander, bamboo shoots, etc. Eating more fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, milk, doing proper physical exercise, paying attention to the combination of work and rest, and increasing the body's immunity can reduce the recurrence of warts. Maintaining an optimistic and healthy attitude can adjust the body's internal systems and facilitate recovery from illness.
