The causes of sty are nothing more than bacterial infection, excessive use of eyes, frequent rubbing of eyes with unclean hands, which clogs the hair follicles.

For a disease like stye, when your eyes start to itch, become red and swollen and painful in the early stages, do not rub your eyes with your hands. Clean your eyes in time. You can use a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of medical alcohol to wipe the red and swollen areas at the roots of the eyelashes. Your eyes may feel hot after wiping (you cannot open your eyes when they are hot, otherwise the alcohol will penetrate into your eyes and cause eye pain). Open your eyes after the heat is over. Just wipe 2 to 3 times to reduce swelling, disinfect and clean the eyes.

In the early stages of a stye or before a nodule forms, you can apply local hot and wet compresses three times a day for 20 minutes each time. Hot compress can speed up blood circulation in the eyes and reduce swelling and relieve pain. Oral anti-inflammatory drugs can be used as an auxiliary. If the inflammation is more serious, some anti-inflammatory injections can be given

Once your eyes start to become festering, the situation is very serious. Do not wait until the festering parts break on their own. You should go to the hospital immediately for surgery to cut them open. This will not only shorten your treatment time, but also reduce your pain. I had an internal stye. I didn't pay attention to it in the early stage, so I had to have surgery in the later stage (of course, I had to go to a regular hospital)

Let me talk about the postoperative period of internal stye. The gauze can be removed about a day after the operation. Oral anti-inflammatory drugs should be taken after the operation. Anti-inflammatory eye drops should be applied 3-4 times a day, 1-2 drops each time. At night, you can use anti-inflammatory gel ointment as an auxiliary (I personally feel that gel ointment has better anti-inflammatory effect). Two days after the operation, you can use a hot towel for hot compress for about 10 minutes each time to promote blood circulation and reduce swelling and relieve pain.
