How to clean an air cushion comb

A comb is a must-have item in our lives, especially for some girls who comb their hair very beautifully every morning. Of course, the comb plays an important role here. Although a comb is a necessary item, it will become dirty after being used for a long time. How to clean the comb requires some tips. Of course, when cleaning the comb, you should also choose the cleaning method according to the cleanliness of the comb.

Air cushion comb cleaning steps

Combs may seem like inconspicuous tools, but they are used every day. Combs that are used for a long time will accumulate hair, dust, grease, dirt, and styling products, especially air cushion massage combs and curling combs. When used, these dirt will be transferred to your clean hair.

Step 1: Before you start cleaning the comb, remove as much broken hair as possible from the air cushion comb. The best way to do this is to use a wide-tooth comb to help. Run the teeth of the wide-tooth comb through the base of the cushion massage comb to lift up the accumulated hair and remove it.

Step 2: Prepare a basin of hot water, add a few drops of shampoo, and stir evenly with your hands. Then put the comb to be cleaned into the water and stir it in the water for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3: Stirring in hot water will help remove dirt, and the hair that is tightly wrapped around the base of the comb will now become loose. Remove the comb from the water and use the wide-tooth comb to pick out the hair in the same way and clean it out.

Step 4: Finally, put the comb in clean warm water to rinse off the foam, wipe the handle and back plate dry, and place it in a cool place with the teeth facing down to drain the water. The reason why the teeth should face downwards is to prevent water from flowing back to the back of the comb and causing water accumulation (many backs are made of wood).

How to clean an air cushion comb

1. When the comb is not too dirty:

When bathing and washing your hair, use a comb to comb your foamy hair. As you comb, the dirt will naturally fall off. If it is a high-density air cushion comb or a round comb, you need to use a toothpick or a small thin clip to gently remove the remaining hair, and then comb your hair to clean it.

2. When the comb is heavily dirty:

Thick dirt is not suitable for combing hair directly. It is very simple to remove the dirt. If it is a single-row wooden comb, we can use a discarded toothbrush dipped in toothpaste or shampoo to brush it repeatedly; if it is a double-row or high-density air bag comb, soak it in slightly higher temperature warm water for 3-5 minutes, then stir it back and forth in the water, and the flowing water will take away the dirt in the comb. Lich, please note that the temperature of black silk should not be too high, especially for horn combs, which will easily deform!
