Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a very familiar method of treatment for everyone. Through cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid can be given to patients in shock. The specific steps are to cross your hands and place them on the patient's chest and start pressing. You need to pay attention to the strength and frequency. Generally, cardiopulmonary resuscitation requires 100 compressions per minute. Artificial respiration is also required when necessary, and emergency drug treatment is also required. What is the compression rate for adult CPR? The frequency of chest compressions should be 100 times/minute, but this frequency is the compression frequency when only chest compressions are performed. In actual implementation, the ratio of chest compressions to mouth-to-mouth artificial respiration is 30:2, that is, two artificial respirations are performed after every thirty compressions. Therefore, the actual number of chest compressions per minute is often less than 100 times. However, when the patient is connected to a ventilator or Hands-only CPR is performed, the compression rate is still 100 times/minute. How to operate ⑴ Pressing position: on the midline at the junction of the middle and lower 1/3 of the sternum or 2.5 to 5 cm above the xiphoid process. ⑵Pressure method: ① The rescuer places the base of one palm against the chest compression area and the other palm on the back of this hand. The two hands are overlapped and parallel with the fingers crossed and slightly lifted to clear the fingers from the chest wall. ② The rescuer's arms should be straightened, with the midpoint of the shoulders perpendicular to the pressing part, and the upper body weight and shoulder and arm muscle strength should be used to press vertically downward. ③ The compression should be performed steadily and regularly without interruption, and the time for pressing down and relaxing upwards should be equal. There should be an obvious pause when pressing to the lowest point, and it should not be pressed violently or in a jumpy manner. When relaxing, the base of the palm should not leave the chest compression area, but should be relaxed as much as possible so that the sternum is not subjected to any pressure. ④ The compression frequency is 80 to 100 times/min, 90 to 100 times/min for children, and the appropriate ratio of compression to relaxation time is 1:2. The ratio with breathing is the same as above. ⑤The pressing depth is 4-5cm for adults, 3cm for those aged 5-13 years old, and 2cm for infants and young children. ⑶Main indicators of effective compression: ① The pulsation of the large artery can be felt when pressing; systolic blood pressure 2>8.0kPa; ②The patient's complexion, lips, nails and skin turn red again; ③The dilated pupil shrinks again; ④ Spontaneous breathing occurs; ⑤ Consciousness gradually recovers, and eye movement, eyelash reflex and light reflex may appear, and even hands and feet may twitch and muscle tone may increase. ⑷ Perform artificial respiration while performing chest compressions, and do not frequently interrupt cardiopulmonary resuscitation to observe the pulse and heart rate. The rest time of compression should generally not exceed 10 seconds to avoid interfering with the successful resuscitation. The ratio of compression to artificial respiration should be 30:2 according to the single-person resuscitation method. Note: ⑴ First check whether the patient's airway is blocked. If there is any foreign body in the mouth, it should be removed immediately (including dentures) |
