The harm of inferior perfume

The harm of inferior perfume

Perfume is a volatile substance. Some people choose to spray some perfume on themselves in order to change their body odor and make themselves sound more fragrant. But most people who wear perfume cannot smell their own scent, only others can smell it. Good perfumes are generally more expensive, so some people choose inferior perfumes. So what are the dangers of inferior perfumes?

1. The harm of inferior perfume

1. Most low-quality perfumes are blended with chemical fragrances, industrial alcohol, etc. They contain aromatic benzene compounds that can irritate the respiratory system and cause people in the car to have symptoms such as coughing, dizziness, and vomiting. In addition, some low-quality perfumes add phthalates to make the fragrance more lasting. This substance can cause sperm motility to decrease or even death. The EU has currently banned the use of this substance in perfumes and other cosmetics.

2. People with allergic skin are prone to rashes after applying inferior perfume. Long-term use of perfume containing excessive heavy metals will cause heavy metal deposition poisoning, which will cause certain damage to nerve cells and liver and kidney functions, and is particularly harmful to women. The same is true for some inferior sachets. The blending of perfumes has strict requirements. Not all scents you like can be mixed together. Some spices put together will produce toxins and are harmful to the human body.

2. There are methods for purchasing perfume

1. Look at the color: It is best to choose colorless and transparent car perfume. Unnaturally bright colors are likely to have added pigments.

2. Smell: Choose perfumes with fresher scents, such as fruity and floral scents, avoid scents that are too strong. Also, don't use lavender scents that help you sleep, everyone knows that. Drop a few drops of perfume on odorless paper, and if there is nothing unusual when you sniff it lightly, and then sniff it harder, if there is still no unpleasant reaction, it means it is generally safe to use.

3. Experimental method: drop a few drops onto white paper. After evaporation for a period of time, if there is no mark left on the paper, it means the purity is good. Or you can take a few drops of perfume and drop them into 5 ml of clean water. Perfumes with high purity will naturally separate into layers, while perfumes with low purity or inferior quality will become turbid after being dropped into the water, and the stratification phenomenon will not be obvious.
