Getting heavier and heavier in fitness

Getting heavier and heavier in fitness

Fitness and exercise are now very common, and more and more of them will have some impact on our body. When many people do fitness, the first thing they have to ensure is the reduction of muscle fat. They should also pay attention to fitness through the correct method to avoid poor exercise results during the fitness process. Why do you get heavier when you exercise? This is an issue that many people are concerned about.

Exercise reduces body fat and increases muscle, so weight does not decrease.

The energy consumed by exercise prompts the oxidation and decomposition of fat stored in the body, resulting in fat reduction. But at the same time, frequent muscle contraction and exertion during exercise will stimulate the thickening of muscle fibers and increase muscle mass. In the body, the water content of muscle tissue is much higher than that of fat tissue, so muscle is "heavier" than fat (strictly speaking, under the premise of the same volume). In other words, a "small" increase in muscle will offset the weight loss caused by a "large" decrease in fat. This ultimately leads to no significant weight loss in the early stages of exercise.

Fat consumption is directly related to the amount of exercise. No matter what kind of exercise or form, as long as the amount of exercise is large enough (energy consumption is enough), it can promote the oxidation and decomposition of fat in the body.

The increase in muscle is directly related to the form of exercise. Generally speaking, the more strenuous the exercise (such as weightlifting, dumbbells, machines, etc.), the greater the stimulation to muscle growth, because muscle formation follows the principle of "use it or it will grow, don't use it or it will decline." In addition, muscle gain is most obvious in the early stages of exercise, especially in people who have never exercised before and are just starting to exercise.

If you continue to exercise, that is, exercise for a long time, your muscles will not continue to increase. Therefore, the best way to solve the problem of not losing weight in the early stages of exercise is to build confidence and continue exercising until the increased weight of muscle can no longer offset the reduced weight of fat, and the weight will naturally decrease. At the same time, pay attention to choosing the right form of exercise to avoid over-stimulating muscle growth.

Of course, it must be stated that gaining muscle is beneficial to health in any case. That is to say, fat is reduced and muscle is increased. Although weight has not decreased, the health benefits are still great, at least not less than ordinary weight loss (weight loss). Putting health aside, fat is reduced and muscle is increased. Although body weight has not decreased, the body's "volume" has decreased, so people will look "thinner" and more energetic.
