People often talk about liver ultrasound, which refers to liver ultrasound examination, which is of great clinical significance. For example, patients may experience similar symptoms for diseases such as cirrhosis, fatty liver, and liver trauma and bleeding. In order to find out the true condition, patients can go to the hospital for a liver ultrasound examination. When doing a liver ultrasound examination, eight standard sections are usually required. This is also the process of liver ultrasound examination. What are the specific eight sections? 8 standard sections of liver ultrasound: 【Operation method】 1. Body Position (1) Supine position: most commonly used. (2) Left side lying position: This is a necessary supplementary position. Used for longer intercostals. (3) Right lateral position: particularly useful for displaying the left lateral lobe. (4) Sitting or semi-recumbent position. 2. The probe sites can be divided into four areas: right subcostal, subxiphoid, left subcostal, and right intercostal. 1. Maximum oblique diameter of the right lobe of the liver (second portal of the liver) 1. Standard measurement section: The oblique section of the liver under the right costal margin where the right hepatic vein and the middle hepatic vein merge into the inferior vena cava is used as the standard measurement section. 2. Measurement location: The measurement points are placed on the liver capsule at the anterior and posterior edges of the right liver lobe, and the maximum vertical distance is measured. 3. Normal reference value (cm): 12-14cm for normal adults. 2. Anteroposterior diameter of the right lobe of the liver 1. Standard measurement section: The largest section of the right lobe of the liver between the fifth or sixth intercostal space is the standard measurement section. 2. Measurement location: The measurement points are placed on the liver capsule at the anterior and posterior edges of the right liver lobe, and the maximum vertical distance is measured. 3. Normal reference value (cm): 8-10cm for normal adults. 3. Thickness and length of the left lobe of the liver 1. Standard measurement section: The sagittal longitudinal section of the left lobe of the liver passing through the abdominal aorta is used as the standard measurement section, and the diaphragm is displayed as much as possible upward. 2. Measurement position: The left lobe thickness measurement points are placed on the liver capsule (including the caudate lobe) at the widest part of the anterior and posterior edges of the left liver lobe to measure its maximum anterior-posterior distance. The left lobe length measurement points are placed on the upper and lower edge capsules of the left liver lobe parallel to the midline of the human body. 3. Normal reference value (cm): The thick diameter of the left liver lobe does not exceed 6cm, and the long diameter of the left liver lobe does not exceed 9cm. (IV) Oblique section of the left liver lobe under the sword 1. Measurement of standard sections: showing the left liver lobe, caudate lobe, ligamentum venosum, inferior vena cava, and abdominal aorta. 2. This section divides the left lobe of the liver into the left inner lobe and the left outer lobe (V) Oblique section through the right subcostal plane through the first hepatic portal 1. Measurement of standard sections: showing the gallbladder, portal vein, right hepatic duct, left hepatic duct, inferior vena cava, and right hepatic vein. 2. This section divides the liver into right and left lobes. 6. Width of portal vein and common bile duct 1. Standard measurement section: The longitudinal section of the first hepatic hilum under the right auxiliary margin is used as the standard measurement section, and the common bile duct is required to be displayed as much as possible to the back of the pancreatic head. 2. Measurement location: The portal vein should be measured at a distance of 1-2 cm from the first hepatic portal. The common bile duct should be measured at its widest point along its entire length. 3. Normal reference values (cm): width of the portal vein trunk (inner diameter) 1.0-1.2 cm, width of the common bile duct (inner diameter) 0.4-0.6 cm. 7. Longitudinal section of the right lobe of the liver 1. Measurement of standard section: showing the interface between the right lobe of the liver and the right kidney. |
