Principle of ventilating nose patch

Ventilation nasal patches, as the name suggests, are used to clear nasal congestion. In life, we are bound to catch a cold, and when we have a cold, the nose is easily blocked. The ventilating nasal patch can clear the nose, improve sleep disorders caused by nasal obstruction, and temporarily reduce or relieve snoring. For many of our patients, we only use the nasal patch when our nose is uncomfortable. Except for those who study medicine, few people know the principle of the ventilating nasal patch.

The principle of ventilating nose patch

1. The ventilating nasal patch is used to help improve nasal congestion caused by symptoms such as colds or rhinitis, making breathing smoother, and does not contain any medicinal ingredients.

2. The ventilation nasal patch does not rely on any drugs, but uses a patented elastic film, so that the ventilation nasal patch can open the nasal cavity and respiratory tract, effectively reducing the resistance of airflow through the nasal cavity in an instant, thereby achieving the effect of expanding the nasal passage.

3. The ventilating nasal patch can effectively improve nasal ventilation, improve or strengthen breathing, and temporarily relieve nasal obstruction and nasal congestion caused by colds, rhinitis, and deviated nasal septum. It can not only make breathing smoother, but also improve sleep disorders caused by nasal obstruction, reduce snoring, etc.

How to use the ventilating nose patch

1. Clean and remove oil and dry the surface of the nose first

2. Tear off the protective sticker from the middle

3. Press gently until it sticks tightly.

4. When peeling off, apply force slowly to avoid pulling the skin

5. Correct pasting can enable you to obtain the maximum effect and make breathing smoother.

6. The best way to remove: Remove the ventilating nose patch when washing your face with warm water or taking a bath. Release the ends of the strip and gently peel it away from the sides of your nose.

Quick relief of nasal congestion

1. Hot compress

Apply a hot towel to your nose, or use a hair dryer to blow hot air into your nostrils, blowing on both sides of the temples, Fengchi acupoints, and Dazhui acupoints, and nasal congestion can be relieved.

2. Soak cotton in hot water

Soak cotton in hot water and wring it dry, then apply it to your ears for 10 minutes. This will prevent you from having a blocked nose when you sleep.

3. Soak your feet in ginger water

Soaking your feet in ginger water can have the same effect. Because soaking your feet in hot water can promote blood circulation and enhance human immunity. Ginger can dilate blood vessels, accelerate blood circulation, and promote the opening of body pores to dispel wind, dispel cold and induce sweating. The specific method is: add a thumb-sized piece of ginger to water and boil it, let it cool to about 37℃~40℃, then pour it into a basin and start soaking your feet. After the water becomes cool, add enough hot water until your feet are hot and red.

4. Press Yingxiang acupoint

The Yingxiang point is located on the outer edge of the nose, that is, when the eyes are looking straight ahead, directly below the center of the eyeball, in the smile lines about 1/2 the width of the thumb on both sides of the nostrils. You can use the index and middle fingers of both hands to press and rub or gently push the Yingxiang point left and right at the same time. Usually 10 to 20 times will be effective.

5. Pull the Yintang acupoint

The Yintang point is located on the face of the human body, at the midpoint of the line connecting the two eyebrows. Use your bent thumb and index finger to gently pinch the Yintang acupoint and rub it gently and slowly until you feel numbness and swelling in the area. Generally, knead for 2 minutes. Clear the head and improve eyesight, open the nose and open the orifices. Pulling the Yintang acupoint can increase the proliferation ability of nasal mucosal epithelial cells, promote mucus secretion, keep the nasal cavity moist, and stimulate the olfactory cells to make the sense of smell more sensitive, thereby preventing colds and respiratory diseases.

6. Pay attention to room moisturizing

Dry air can easily dry out the nasal mucosa, which can easily lead to some nasal problems. Therefore, maintaining the humidity of the living environment can reduce the occurrence of nasal congestion to a certain extent. It is necessary to pay attention to regular ventilation and open the windows for at least 10 minutes every day to let in fresh air.

7. Boil water with Xanthium sibiricum

Xanthium sibiricum is pungent, bitter and warm, and enters the lung meridian. It has the effects of dispersing wind and cold, clearing the nasal passages and relieving pain. You can try boiling Xanthium sibiricum in water and drink it. You can take 3-6 grams of Xanthium sibiricum and put it in water, boil it for about 20 minutes and drink it, twice a day. If used by children, the dosage should be reduced under the guidance of a doctor. It can also be used externally. Dip a cotton swab in boiled Xanthium sibiricum water and apply it to the nasal cavity 3 times a day to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion and headache.

8. Chinese medicine nasal fumigation

Boil Chinese herbs such as magnolia, Xanthium sibiricum, ginger, and Houttuynia cordata over high heat, then put your nose close to the soup and take a deep breath, using the steam to fumigate your nose. This can not only effectively relieve symptoms, but also produce immediate results. In addition to the Chinese medicine nasal fumigation method, patients with severe nasal congestion and headaches can take Chuanxiong and Nepeta tea to relieve the symptoms. Just boil magnolia, saposhnikovia, Chuanxiong and Nepeta to drink, it can not only dispel wind and cold but also relieve headaches.

9. Take a hot bath before bed

Stay in a steamy bathroom for about 10 minutes. The hot air can increase the humidity in the respiratory tract and relieve nasal congestion symptoms.

10. Raise your pillow when sleeping

Professor Collins said that adding an extra pillow when sleeping can help relieve nasal congestion, reduce sinus pressure, and make it easier to breathe through the nose. Only when you breathe smoothly can you sleep well
