Usage: 1. Treat heavy bleeding: Grind Jingxiang ink into fine powder, stew it with water to dissolve donkey-hide gelatin, mix and take evenly.

2. To treat epistaxis (nose bleeding), grind the scented ink and apply it into the nostrils.

3. To treat carbuncle on the back: Grind vinegar into a thick juice and apply it around the area, and apply pig bile in the middle until it is dry before applying again.

Ink made from pine soot, gum, borneol and spices.

Identification of properties: This product is in the shape of a square column or a flat rectangular column, some with a gold-printed trademark; the surface is black with a slight luster, hard and brittle, the cross-section is uneven, black in color, with small white spots and pores. Slightly different smell, slightly fragrant, light taste.

Pharmacological Action

The flavor is astringent and the nature is neutral.

It has the effects of clearing away heat, stopping bleeding, reducing swelling, enhancing vision and killing sticky substances.

It is mainly used to treat kidney heat, epistaxis, menorrhagia, traumatic bleeding, hair loss, and sticky heat.

Dosage and Administration: For oral administration: Grind into powder, 1-3g; make into pills or powder. For external use: Take appropriate amount, grind into powder and apply externally.
