Tips for blow-drying your own hair

Tips for blow-drying your own hair

Most families have hair dryers to prevent their hair from not drying after washing. Especially families with children need a hair dryer. After washing their hair at night, they must blow it dry before going to bed. A hair dryer looks simple, it is just for drying hair, but for many girls, it is also a good helper for hairstyle. Many girls have mature skills in blowing their own hair and can blow out beautiful curls.

Why can hairstylists blow out beautiful hairstyles? Actually, there are some tips!

1. Dry your hair first

You can shorten the time it takes to dry your hair with a blow dryer by towel drying your hair first. When your hair is wet, the cuticle will open and it will easily peel off if rubbed, so be careful not to rub your hair hard! First, dry your hair with a towel as if you were massaging your scalp. Gently press all the hair with a towel. A trick is to use a towel to dry the accumulated moisture at the ends of your hair after combing it with a wide comb.

2. Apply a no-rinse conditioner

The no-rinse conditioner has the properties of enhancing nutrients, gloss, protecting against heat damage, and making hair manageable and smooth. There is a huge difference between applying and not applying after blow-drying! Remember to do maintenance outside the bathroom quickly. Please note that the longer the time is, the lower the penetration will become.

3. Focus on drying the scalp and hair roots

When using a hair dryer to dry hair, if you blow the healthy and moisturized hair roots and the rough hair ends at the same time, if the hair ends become very dry, they will curl outwards. Remember to blow-dry the roots of your hair first. Sometimes if you don’t want the hair on top of your head to stick to your scalp, you can lift your hair up and let air blow in.

4. Keep your bangs from splitting

A common problem with bangs is that they easily split. This is because the growth direction of our hair roots is fixed. Blow-drying your hair with split roots will not help no matter how you fix it. We can blow dry while moving the roots of the hair, and then blow dry downwards. The neat bangs blown out in this way are not afraid of becoming a middle part!

5. The best angle for a hair dryer is 45 degrees

When blow-drying your hair, hold the hair dryer above you and use your hands to move your hair while blowing. Be careful that if you blow dry your hair directly in the direction it will curl outwards. Blow-drying your hair at 45 degrees will not only make it shiny but also make it easier to manage. Remember to move the hair dryer while blowing, and the hair dryer should not use hot air. You can pinch the ends of your hair with your index and middle fingers like writing a C, and you can easily blow out an inward-curled hairstyle. Finally, blow with cool air to create a glossy look. Use cold air to keep the finished shape fixed, so it won’t look rough due to heat!
