Will teenagers’ hair grow back after it falls out

The bodies of adolescents are in the best period of development, with all aspects of their functions and vitality at their peak. However, some people start to lose their hair during adolescence, and the phenomenon of hair loss is very serious. This is generally caused by hot and dry blood, which can be regulated through food. So, will teenagers’ hair grow back if they lose it?

Causes of Hair Loss

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the following are the reasons for hair loss in adolescents: blood heat and wind dryness, blood heat prevails, which consumes Yin blood, and blood tiger generates wind, which further damages Yin blood. Yin blood cannot reach the top of the head to nourish the hair roots, causing the hair roots to dry up, or hair becomes weak and falls off;

Or it may be due to damp heat in the spleen and stomach, spleen deficiency and inability to transport and transform, and eating too much fatty and sweet food, which damages the stomach and spleen, causing damp heat to rise to the top of the head and erode the roots of the hair. The hair roots are gradually corroded, and the hair becomes sticky and falls out.

Hair Growth Hair is the derivative of the skin's epidermis that sinks into the dermis. It consists of the hair shaft exposed on the skin surface and the hair root buried in the skin. The hair root is surrounded by the hair follicle, and the swelling at the end of the hair root is called the hair bulb. The cells that make up the hair bulb have the ability to divide, proliferate and differentiate. Therefore, the hair bulb is the growth point of the hair. The lower part is the hair papilla, which contains abundant capillaries and nerves and has a nutritional effect on the hair bulb. Hair grows from the hair bulb relying on these nutrients. A normal adult has about 100,000 hairs. About 50 to 80 hairs fall out every day, while new hair is replenished, and the two basically reach a balance.

As long as teenagers pay attention to daily care, their hair can grow back.

Tips to prevent hair loss

1. Comb your hair in the morning and evening. Combing your hair a hundred times every morning and evening can stimulate the scalp and improve ventilation between hair. Since the scalp is prone to sweating and getting dirty, combing your hair regularly can help prevent hair loss and dandruff.

2. Change the direction of combing your hair. If you keep combing your hair in the same direction, the parting of your hair will become particularly dry or thinner due to frequent exposure to sunlight. Sometimes it may help to change the direction in which your hair is parted to avoid hair loss.

3. Head massage. It is best to perform head massage on teenagers with hair loss, because head massage can promote blood circulation, make hair soft, improve metabolism and promote hair development. The massage method is to rub or pull the hair tightly with your fingers. Applying hair oil on the scalp before massage can help prevent hair loss.

4. Eat less greasy food. Seborrheic alopecia occurs more often in young and middle-aged people, and is often accompanied by obvious symptoms such as increased dandruff, oily scalp, and itching. Eat less greasy and high-sugar foods, eat more grains, vegetables, fruits, or eat more foods rich in iron, calcium, and vitamin A, as well as foods that are nourishing to hair, such as milk, lean meat, poultry, and fish with the highest protein content.

6. Brandy method to treat hair loss: Add a little brandy to the shampoo, massage your scalp while washing, and persist in doing this for a long time, which can stop hair loss.

8. Pay attention to drying your hair properly: wet hair is fragile and easily damaged, so when drying your hair, it is better to press and pat it dry with a dry towel instead of rubbing it with a towel. The high heat of a hair dryer can damage hair. When using it, the temperature should be low rather than high. Note that hair that is still dripping or already dry should not be blow-dried.

It's best to let your hair dry naturally.
