Maintenance of femoral head

Maintenance of femoral head

Everyone must have heard of femoral head necrosis. Femoral head necrosis is a very serious disease. Patients with this disease will have severe bone deformation, and their joints will be very uncomfortable and painful when the weather or temperature changes. Therefore, the maintenance of the femoral head is very important. The maintenance of the femoral head requires more attention in daily life. So, how should the femoral head be maintained?

1. Avoid excessive drinking. It is best not to eliminate any alcoholic substances in daily life. Long-term drinking can lead to increased blood lipids and damage to liver function, increased blood viscosity, easy blockage of blood vessels, and very easy formation of femoral head injuries.

2. Avoid carrying heavy objects or walking with weights. Under weight-bearing conditions, stress damage will occur in the weight-bearing trabeculae in the femoral head, causing deformation and depression of the femoral head.

3. Avoid the use of hormone drugs. If you are using medications to treat asthma, diabetes and other diseases, you should try to avoid hormone drugs.

4. Keep warm and prevent cold. In wet and cold weather conditions, patients with femoral head injuries will feel more pain and soreness because in this weather, blood flows more slowly and is more prone to congestion.

5. Each time you walk, you cannot walk more than 500 meters. You must rest once in the middle, whether it hurts or not. You cannot lift anything weighing more than 1 kg, do any heavy work, or walk too long. If you can do these three things, you can greatly reduce the chance of recurrence. But if you fail to achieve it at any time, it is easy to get sick. Occasional pain is not a disease, just rest. However, if the pain is frequent, you should see a doctor promptly.

6. Before doing physical exercise, you should fully warm up your hips, feel your body warm and your limbs flexible.

7. When carrying heavy objects, avoid hip sprains and try not to do too heavy work.

8. Pay attention to your steps when walking and be careful not to fall, especially when walking on ice and snow in winter.

9. Hip injuries should be treated promptly, and you should not walk too much before the injury is healed to avoid repeated damage to the hip joint.

10. Avoid aquatic products. Because aquatic products can cause metabolic disorders in the body, leading to gouty arthritis and unknown swelling and pain in the joints.
