A few years ago, the TV series "If You Are the One" made people have a stronger understanding of the disease called melanoma. When some black spots appear on the body, many people will be very scared, afraid of melanoma. After all, this disease is very harmful. In fact, melanoma can be diagnosed and identified to a certain extent through its symmetry, color, etc. Of course, you also need to go to the hospital for examination in time. Are black spots on the body melanoma? Since the melanoma had to be completely removed, even the eardrum had to be removed, ordinary skin grafts would not survive. "We removed a 25-8 cm skin flap from the patient's calf." The doctor said that after completely removing the wound, the skin flap was sutured to the right foot. After 3 weeks, the skin flap was completely alive. First, look at the symmetry of the mole: use a pen to draw a line on the mole to divide it into two halves. Ordinary moles are symmetrical on both sides, while malignant melanomas are mostly irregular in shape. When divided into two halves, the two halves are asymmetrical. Second, look at the edge of the mole: the edge of an ordinary mole is smooth and clearly demarcated from the surrounding skin, while the edge of a malignant melanoma is often jagged and serrated. Third, look at the color of the mole: ordinary moles are mostly brown, tan or black in color, while malignant melanoma often has a variety of colors mixed with ordinary moles. Within a few months, the color suddenly deepens, turns black, turns blue, or begins to fade. Fourth, look at the diameter of the mole: ordinary moles are generally smaller than 5 mm, while the diameter of malignant melanoma is mostly more than 4 mm to 6 mm Clinical manifestations The clinical symptoms of malignant melanoma of the skin include bleeding, itching, tenderness, ulcers, etc. Generally speaking, the symptoms of melanoma are related to the age of onset. Young patients generally show itching, color changes and enlarged boundaries of the lesions, while elderly patients generally show ulcers on the lesions, which usually indicates a poor prognosis. The lesions of cutaneous malignant melanoma are related to the anatomical site and growth pattern of the tumor, that is, the histological type, which varies greatly depending on age, type, and race. Different types of melanoma have different causes and genetic backgrounds. Currently, the clinical histological classification of melanoma adopts Clark classification, which includes the following four types. Lentigo maligna melanoma (LMM); superficial spreading melanoma; acral lentigo melanoma/mucosal melanoma; nodular melanoma (NM). Among Caucasians with malignant melanoma, approximately 70% are SSM. However, among all malignant melanomas in Asians, ALM occurs in areas less exposed to sunlight, accounting for 72%. |
