Anxiety-type hypertension includes two conditions: anxiety disorder and hypertension. In fact, it mainly refers to high blood pressure when the patient is nervous, anxious, or stressed. He or she may experience palpitations, dizziness, and headaches. Headaches may manifest as bloating and pain in the occipital and temporal regions. Another situation is that blood pressure rises extremely when one is anxious, and the patient may experience severe headaches and even limb tremors and chest tightness. This article introduces the treatment methods of tension and anxiety type hypertension.

Due to long-term anxiety, I suffered from high blood pressure. High blood pressure may be related to certain lifestyles and habits. I should pay attention to eating less salt and high-fat foods. Properly relieve life stress. Go to bed on time at night and don't stay up late. If the condition is serious, you can take blood pressure medication.

1. Relaxation methods.

Anxiety disorder can cause people to experience adverse reactions such as panic, muscle tension, and body trembling. Physical relaxation can reduce these discomforts and relieve anxiety. Physical relaxation can help relieve tension through deep breathing, thereby overcoming anxiety.

2. Adaptation method.

The best way to overcome anxiety is to face the things that cause anxiety bravely. Anxious people can break down a feared situation into several small goals and proceed step by step. They can gradually adapt to the situation and no longer feel anxious when facing it in the future.

3. Pay attention to rest.

Getting more rest can relax your body and mind and reduce psychological anxiety. Therefore, you should pay attention to ensuring adequate sleep. Taking a hot bath before going to bed is more helpful for sleep quality.

4. Methods of venting.

Relaxing is a good way to solve psychological anxiety. By talking, we can express our inner thoughts. Let the person you are talking to become your supporter, help you overcome difficulties and stay away from anxiety.

5. Stay optimistic.

Being confident in ourselves will enable us to overcome all kinds of difficulties and thus resolve psychological anxiety. When you lack confidence, you might as well give yourself some self-suggestion.

6. Divert attention.

If you feel upset recently, you can relax your body and mind by diverting your attention, which will temporarily relieve your psychological pressure. You can divert your attention by listening to music, walking outdoors, etc.

(1) Explanatory method of psychotherapy: Since most patients with anxiety disorders have anticipatory anxiety, they have an anticipated fear of future anxiety attacks. If patients can actively cooperate with psychologists and patiently listen to the doctor's explanation of the nature of the disease, it will help reduce the psychological burden and prevent the occurrence of anxiety disorders.

(2) Relaxation therapy as a psychotherapy method: Relaxation therapy is a method that teaches patients how to relax their muscles and emotions. Patients can eliminate distracting thoughts by learning and mastering methods of regulating breathing and relaxing muscles throughout the body. The patient should first focus on one part of the body (such as the left hand) and try to relax the muscles in that part until a warm feeling is generated. Then shift your attention to another part of your body (such as your right hand). Repeated training in this way can calm your mood, regularize your heartbeat, and make your breathing even, which is very effective for people who suffer from anxiety attacks.

(3) Shock method of psychotherapy: suddenly placing the patient in a real environment that stimulates anxiety to change pathological behavior. This treatment lasts 30-60 minutes each time, and the number of treatments is generally 1-4 times.

(4) Systematic desensitization as a psychotherapy method: When the patient is in a state of general relaxation, a stimulus that can cause mild anxiety is repeatedly presented to the patient. When the stimulus no longer causes anxiety in the patient, the intensity of the stimulus is increased and the same method is repeated until the patient's anxiety disappears completely.

(5) Hypnosis as a psychotherapy method: Hypnosis is suitable for generalized anxiety disorder (an anxiety disorder characterized by frequent, persistent tension and uneasiness without an obvious object or fixed content, or excessive worry or distress about certain problems in real life). Hypnotists use highly suggestible hypnosis techniques to improve patients' anxiety and sleep.
