Nails grow crookedly

Nails grow crookedly

Crooked nails are a problem faced by many people. In this case, we must not regard it as a normal phenomenon, because it is most likely caused by a lack of iron or nutrients such as protein in the body. Therefore, after this problem occurs, we must go to the hospital for examination in time. Below, we will introduce to you some abnormal nail phenomena and causes!

1. Nails grow in strange shapes

Long-term lack of protein or iron usually causes spoon-shaped or flat nails, which can be corrected by improving diet and nutrition. It is said that wearing artificial nails can help the nails store moisture, become soft, and cause the nails to bend upward. To address this problem, you should increase nutrition as appropriate and remove the artificial nails.

2. Nail changes and dyeing

A person suffering from a chronic disease, being emotionally depressed for a long time, smoking, or the fingers coming into contact with chemical contaminants such as carbon paper and hair dye can cause the nails to change color or be stained. If your nails are very dark, it is better to wait until new nails grow out. If you want to remove surface stains in time, you can rub your fingertips repeatedly with a slice of lemon, then wash and dry them.

2. Brittle and cracked nails

1. Take two tablespoons of yeast and 1000 mg of bile acid orally every day. It is best to add these nutrients to fluid or milk for oral administration, which will help improve the strength of nails.

2. Considering that iron deficiency can cause dry and brittle nails, it is best to eat more iron-rich foods and take vitamin C to improve the ability to absorb iron.

3. Soak your polished, defect-free nails in warm malt oil or other natural oil for about 5-10 minutes every day, then massage from the fingertips to the surface cuticle. If you use an emery board to slightly abrade the surface of the nail, it will make it easier for the oil to penetrate.

4. Dull nails

If the nails are wavy and dull, it may indicate a lack of protein, vitamin A and B, or minerals. This can be done by improving your daily diet and taking a multivitamin supplement every day. Add 15 grams of vitamin B6 and zinc. If your nails are dull and completely white, it indicates that you may have liver disease. In this case, you can ask a physician to check and help with diagnosis and treatment.

5. Pale nails

This may be a sign of zinc deficiency, vitamin B6 deficiency, or may be caused by anemia. If the symptoms of pale nails persist after improving your diet and nutrition, you should consult a doctor to find out the cause.

6. Dents on nails

This type of diseased nail symptoms indicate a lack of calcium, protein, and sulfur in the body. These nutrients can be obtained from eggs and garlic, and it is better to consume them regularly.
