How to make homemade nail polish

Painting nails is a symbol of fashion for modern women, and there are many nail salons in China that do the same. Homemade nail polish method 1:

1. Find an eye shadow in the color you want to use as nail polish. It can be new eye shadow bought from a cosmetics store, or it can be old items that are reused. While all eyeshadows will work, some brands may be easier to blend than others.

You can try to save a little bit of eyeshadow, but it's actually more convenient to use a whole bottle right from the start. Because of this, it’s best to pick an eyeshadow color that you don’t use often!

2. If necessary, crush the eye shadow. If your eyeshadow is in loose powder form, there is no need to crush it; but if it is in solid form, it needs to be crushed before use. Pour the eye shadow into a plastic food bag and crush it with a rolling pin. Crush the eyeshadow until it is a fine powder without any lumps, as these will show in the final product and make the nail polish look bad.

This step must be done carefully. If the nail polish is not poured evenly, it will not be evenly applied to the nails. Being serious at this time can save you a lot of trouble later.

3. Make a small funnel. This step is super easy—just snip off the corner of an envelope, or curl up a piece of card. If you already have a small funnel, that's even better.

You won't be using the funnel again, so it doesn't matter if it doesn't look pretty. You can use a stapler, water, or transparent tape, as long as it works.

4. Open a bottle of clear nail polish and place the funnel on top. The funnel should fit into the neck of the bottle but not touch the polish.

To avoid spilling of the polish, it's best to make sure the polish bottle is not full if possible. Just half a bottle is enough.

5. Pour your eyeshadow into it through the funnel. If you have glitter, you might as well put that in too! Make your nail polish sparkle! The more eye shadow you add, the thicker the color of the nail polish will be.

Do you understand the purpose of glitter? This will really add to the polish! It will be more attractive if contrasting colors are mixed.

Place a few small steel balls (if you have them) in the bottle. The small steel balls make the nail polish blend faster and easier, while also extending its life.

6. Shake the bottle until the pigment is evenly distributed in the bottle. Then start painting your masterpiece, a color you can name yourself. You may need to apply several coats, depending on how dark you want the color.

Some eyeshadows may have a matte finish. If this doesn't suit your style, you can apply a layer of clear nail polish on the surface to create a high-gloss effect. Method 2: Tools and Materials:

The so-called luminous effect is actually produced by adding fluorescent powder. Determine the amount of phosphor to add based on the effect you need. About two or three spoonfuls of fluorescent powder is enough. Just stir and shake it evenly.
