How to remove the fishy smell on your hands

Many people don’t know that adding salt and soap can remove fishy smells, but soap is a chemical after all, so try to be careful to clean it thoroughly. Tea can remove many kinds of odors, and it is also a good way to remove fishy odors. There are many ways to remove the fishy smell from your hands. Just wash them more often to make the smell less fishy. You can also achieve this goal by washing your hands with sanitizer several times, so don't worry too much.

1. Salt + Soap

The first is the most economical and affordable method of using salt to remove fishy smell: sprinkle salt on your hands and rub them, then wash them with scented soap to remove the fishy smell.

2. Ginger slices + soap

First, cut a few slices of ginger, then rub it on your hands for a dozen seconds, then wash them with scented soap to remove the fishy smell on your hands.

3. Use strong tea to remove the fishy smell

Brew the tea leaves happily, the stronger the better. You can use any tea leaves, or use brewed tea leaves. Then soak your hands in the tea to let the tea aroma cover the fishy smell.

4. Wash with hand sanitizer multiple times

The simplest and most commonly used method is to wash it with soap or hand sanitizer several times until the odor is removed.

5. Orange/lemon/grapefruit peel to remove fishy smell

The smell of orange/lemon/grapefruit peel is fresh and pungent but pleasant. You can use the orange/lemon/grapefruit peel to rub your hands and let the fresh smell of orange/lemon/grapefruit cover up the fishy smell.

6. Vinegar to remove fishy smell

Pour some vinegar on your hands, rub them and then wash them to get rid of the fishy smell immediately.

Vinegar also has a whitening effect. Applying skin care products directly on your hands can protect your hands.

7. Toothpaste removes fishy smell

Squeeze some toothpaste that we usually use for brushing teeth onto your hands, rub them back and forth to remove the fishy smell.

8. Remove the fishy smell with alcohol

Take some rice wine or white wine and pour it into your hands to clean them. If you can't find rice wine or white wine, you can use beer or cooking wine to clean them, the effect is similar.

9. Guava leaves/celery leaves/calendula leaves to remove the fishy smell

Guava leaves/celery leaves/calendula leaves, if you rub these leaves on your hands, there will be a sweet and refreshing smell. After rubbing your hands with them and then washing them with soap, the fishy smell can be removed.
