What to do about the heavy humidity in the south?

The land and water nurture the people. The southern part of my country has a subtropical monsoon climate with many mountains and heavy rains. People living in the south, especially in the mountainous areas, are often trapped by humidity. The humidity is too heavy, which causes people in the south to often have no strength all day long and always want to sleep. They always feel like something is pulling them, and they are lazy all over. So what should we do when the humidity is too heavy? Here are some good ways to dehumidify:

First: Burning Atractylodes lancea or Patchouli indoors can, on the one hand, consume moist air, and on the other hand, Atractylodes lancea and Patchouli can disinfect the air, but you must pay attention to safety. Light a candle and burn aromatherapy in a bedroom or living room with tiled floors. This can save energy and effectively dry the air, and remove the musty smell in the room. Lighting candles can prevent water vapor from condensing, thereby reducing indoor humidity. If there is a musty smell in your home, you can choose candles containing natural plant aromatherapy essential oils. Such candles can not only dry the air, but also remove the musty smell in the room.

Second: turn on the air conditioner to dehumidify. Air conditioners generally have different function options, and you can choose a dehumidification function.

Third: Place a dehumidifier box. You can place the drying box in a small area, such as a wardrobe, box, or drawer.

Fourth: add lime. Lime is an adsorbent. 1 kg of quicklime can absorb about 0.3 kg of moisture in the air. Therefore, on rainy days, you can use leak-proof materials such as plastic sheets to hold quicklime and place it in various corners of the room to keep the indoor air dry.

Fifth: intermittent ventilation method. On rainy days, close the doors and windows on the upwind side (towards the south or southeast), and only open the doors and windows on the leeward side to reduce the amount of water vapor entering the room. When the weather turns clear, you can open all the doors and windows to speed up the evaporation of moisture.

Sixth: Use an exhaust fan. Although the exhaust fan itself has no drying effect, it can draw some humid air out to the outside, especially in the bathroom. After the water vapor is discharged, the indoor humidity is reduced to a certain extent.

Seventh: Let the electric fan blow. If there is no other tool, place an electric fan with a swinging head in the room and let the wind accelerate the evaporation of moisture.

Use the above seven methods to keep moisture away from you!
