What to do if shampoo damages hair?

Hair is a part that people care about very much. Although hair does not have a nervous system like other tissues and people cannot perceive the condition of hair, they can observe whether the hair is healthy from its appearance. The quality of modern people's hair is getting worse and worse, which is closely related to people's unhealthy living habits. In addition, modern people like to use some strong shampoos to clean their hair, which often results in side effects such as large-scale split ends or breakage of hair. Therefore, it is very important to choose a suitable shampoo. Let’s take a look at what to do if shampoo damages your hair.

1. Apply shampoo. Many people are used to pouring shampoo directly onto their hair, but they don’t know that this method is wrong. They should pour an appropriate amount of shampoo on the palm of their hand, dilute it with water, rub it with both hands to make foam, and then apply it evenly on the hair.

2. The right shampooing technique. Spread out your ten fingers, first use the fingertips to evenly rub the shampoo foam into your hair, and then use the fingertips to gently massage your scalp. Especially for oily scalp, you should use more force under the fingertips, because only when the hair follicles are thoroughly cleaned can you grow stronger new hair. After massaging your scalp, you should wash your hair from the hair shaft to the hair ends. You can also gently squeeze your hair with your hands to wash it, so that the hair scales will not have the chance to curl up and cause trouble.

3. Use gentle hair care products. After rinsing your hair completely, squeeze out excess water with your fingers, then wipe it with a dry towel until no water is dripping, and then gently massage your head skin for a few minutes before applying conditioner. It should be said that this step is quite important, because it can maximize the absorption effect of hair care products or conditioners. This is a simple principle, namely: the more concentrated the hair care nutrients, such as essence, hair mask, etc., the higher the requirement for hair dryness. In addition, when applying hair care products, there should be a slippery feeling. If this feeling disappears halfway, it means that the amount used is not enough and some additional conditioner is needed.

4 Rinse moderately. Apply the conditioner evenly on your hair and leave it on for 2 to 3 minutes before rinsing. The water temperature will affect the subsequent styling effects, so the water temperature for the last coat must be slightly lowered. This will make the hair cuticles close better and the hair will feel very smooth.
