Fever is a very common phenomenon. Most people have experienced this symptom. Generally speaking, fever is mainly caused by a cold, which causes the body temperature to be high. 1) Irregular heat. Usually this kind of fever is irregular and the duration is uncertain. It can be caused by lung disease and cardiopleurisy.

2) Fever of unknown cause. Fever lasts for more than 3 weeks, with body temperature above 38.5℃, and the diagnosis cannot be made after a doctor's diagnosis, medical history, and routine laboratory tests.

3) Cancer fever. It usually refers to non-infectious fever directly related to cancer that occurs in patients after infection and antibiotic treatment are ruled out. It may also be that the patient has a fever during the development of the tumor.

4) Coxiella fever is a systemic infectious disease caused by Coxiella burnetii, also known as Coxiella disease. Livestock are the main source of infection. Patients usually present with fever, headache, and generalized muscle pain; accompanied by interstitial pneumonia, and less commonly, chronic hepatitis or fatal endocarditis.

5) Infectious fever: Infectious diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, malarial parasites, etc., affect the body's temperature regulation center, causing excessive heat production, reduced heat dissipation, and resulting in increased body temperature.

6) According to the degree of fever, it can be divided into: low fever 37.4℃~38℃, moderate fever 38.1℃~39℃, high fever 39.1℃~41℃. If it lasts for up to one month, this type of fever is long-term.

There are many symptoms of fever, which are often very similar to the symptoms of other diseases, so they are often confused with diseases causing fever. When making self-diagnosis, if you find that you cannot judge the situation, you can go to a professional hospital for examination.
