Small red spots appear all over the body, and they are not itchy. This is probably caused by acute urticaria. You may have come into contact with something that causes allergies. You can observe it first. If the symptoms do not improve and get worse, it is best to go to the hospital and take some anti-allergic drugs orally under the guidance of a doctor. Do not eat spicy and irritating foods for the time being, and try to eat light foods. What should I pay attention to when I have urticaria? Based on the patient's own diet, daily life, living environment and other specific conditions, actively look for the cause of the disease and keep records every day. For example, if you eat marine fish, shrimps, crabs, meat products that have been stored for a long time, have a recent history of medication, a history of bacterial, viral, or parasitic infections, seasonal changes, mental stress, a history of mosquito bites, etc., you can make self-adjustments through the diet diary method. Appropriate "dietary restriction" should be adopted during the illness period. Daily diet should be light and easy to digest. Avoid tobacco, alcohol, seafood, spicy and sour foods, raw, cold, oily foods, and rotten and spoiled foods. At the same time, pay attention to whether there are any abnormal symptoms in the body; resume the previous diet after the condition gradually stabilizes. Once you think that a certain food is causing your urticaria, you should put it on the "blacklist" and not eat it next time. Common foods that can cause urticaria include: seafood such as sea fish, shrimp, crab, shellfish, oysters, eggs, milk, cheese, chocolate, mango, banana, strawberry, tomato, lychee, peach, and dried fruits such as walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts. If you have a history of penicillin allergy or have developed urticaria due to penicillin injection, you should avoid using dairy products because some dairy products may be contaminated with penicillin. Some urticaria patients cannot tolerate aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, azo dyes, preservatives, food additives, etc., which may be arachidonic acid-mediated urticaria. Certain contacts such as topical medications, animals, plants, paints, industrial compounds, etc. can also cause or aggravate urticaria. Some patients may be allergic to fungi and should avoid eating foods fermented by fungi, such as mushrooms, cheese, cream, vinegar, beer, mayonnaise, etc. At the same time, they should take nystatin orally to kill Candida albicans in the gastrointestinal tract and eliminate possible fungal allergens. If a female patient has severe, persistent chronic urticaria, attention should be paid to testing of erythrocyte sedimentation rate, thyroid function, autoantibodies, etc. to rule out concomitant related diseases. If the rash persists for 24 to 72 hours, accompanied by obvious burning, pain but mild itching; or if the rash appears purpura, scaling, and pigmentation, urticarial vasculitis should be considered, and attention should be paid to testing the erythrocyte sedimentation rate and complement to see if there are symptoms such as fever and joint pain. When taking anti-allergic drugs, you must follow your doctor's orders and read the drug instructions carefully to check for adverse reactions such as drowsiness and dizziness; check for special instructions such as driving, climbing, and operating machinery. When you encounter symptoms such as cold, fever, abdominal pain, etc., you should consult a doctor more often, be especially careful when taking medication, and use antibiotics with caution. Chew slowly, don't overeat, drink plenty of water, and keep your bowel movements open. The symptoms of urticaria are complex and changeable. The symptoms may improve and then suddenly worsen, or they may recur after being cured. In addition to the skin erythema and wheals, there may also be facial redness and swelling, nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea, chest tightness and shortness of breath, and even difficulty breathing or suffocation. Once this occurs, you must seek medical attention immediately. When you have just recovered from a serious illness, your body is in the adjustment and recovery stage and your immunity is low. You need to rest quietly and strike a balance between work and rest. It is not advisable to engage in strenuous physical exercise or go to crowded and noisy public places. |
