People should not feel much when defecating. However, once anorectal diseases occur, major changes will occur around the anus. For example, some people may find a hard lump in their anus, and sometimes there is blood in the stool, which is very worrying. In fact, when such a situation occurs, there is no need to be too nervous. This is often caused by hemorrhoids. The reason for this situation has a lot to do with personal lifestyle habits. Anorectal diseases often cause trouble in our lives, causing us harm and trouble, and adding a considerable burden to our lives. Many people have found small bumps on their anus, and there are many causes of this symptom. Many patients, after discovering bumps on their anus, will take a chance and hope that the bumps will go away on their own, but this idea is obviously unwise and may cause greater harm to themselves if they are not careful. 1. Rectal prolapse: Patients with mild rectal prolapse have prolapse of the rectal mucosa during defecation, which can be returned to the rectum on its own after defecation. Over time, it gradually develops into prolapse of the entire rectum. In addition to prolapse during defecation, it may even prolapse when coughing, walking, or squatting. It must be pushed back by hand or after resting in bed before it can be returned. 2. Inflammatory external hemorrhoids: Inflammatory external hemorrhoids are mainly caused by inflammation and edema of external hemorrhoids. There are many causes. The anus seems to be prolapsed, and there is pain, swelling and discomfort. 3. Rectal polyps: The symptoms of rectal polyps mainly include bloody stools, prolapse, and intestinal irritation. Blood in the stool, prolapse, and intestinal irritation are typical symptoms of rectal polyps. 4. Perianal abscess: refers to an acute or chronic suppurative infection occurring in the soft tissue around the anorectum or in the surrounding space, which forms an abscess. A small hard lump or bump may be felt around the anus, followed by increased pain, redness, swelling, heat, heaviness, discomfort, restlessness, insomnia, constipation, difficulty urinating, and other rectal irritation symptoms. The four most common early symptoms of hemorrhoids are: 1. Blood in the stool: The main early symptoms of internal hemorrhoids include spurting bleeding, spotting, blood on toilet paper, etc. The blood is bright red. External hemorrhoids will not cause bleeding. 2. Prolapse: The main symptom of middle and late stage internal hemorrhoids. The main reason is that the hemorrhoid nodules increase, causing the mucosa and submucosa to separate from the anal layer. During defecation, the internal hemorrhoid nodules can drop below the dentate line and float free outside the anal canal. 3. Heavy pain: It is the main symptom of painful external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids are not painful when there is no inflammation. Heavy pain often occurs in internal hemorrhoid infection, incarceration and strangulation necrosis, often leading to severe heavy pain. 4. Itching: Repeated prolapse of internal hemorrhoids in the late stage can cause relaxation of the anal sphincter and increased secretions, resulting in moisture and uncleanness around the anus, itching and eczema. In severe cases, it can also cause friction pain and itching pain. Bleeding from internal hemorrhoids can also cause anemia, dizziness, loss of appetite, and dry stools. |
