In addition, Shudan tablets also help to expel stones in the gallbladder. Patients with cholecystitis and some bile tract infections can take this medicine. In addition, bile in the human body itself has a disinfecting and bactericidal effect, so taking this medicine can enhance the body's antibacterial ability. Function and indications Clears away heat and dampness, promotes bile secretion and removes stones, promotes qi circulation and relieves pain. It is used for damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder, jaundice, side pain, fever, bitter taste in the mouth, red urine and dry stool; cholecystitis, biliary tract infection, and cholelithiasis with the above symptoms. Usage and Dosage Oral administration, 5 to 6 tablets at a time, 3 times a day. For children, reduce the dosage appropriately or follow the doctor's advice. Note: Pregnant women should not take this medicine. Preparation method For the above nine ingredients, take half amount of rhubarb and grind it into fine powder along with Polygonum cuspidatum and Glauber's salt. Take costus root and fructus aurantii and distill them by steam distillation, collect an appropriate amount of distillate and set aside. Mix the dregs with Magnolia officinalis, Curcuma aromatica, Gardenia jasminoides, Artemisia capillaris and half amount of rhubarb, add water and boil for three times, the first time for 2 hours, the second time for 1.5 hours and the third time for 1 hour, combine the decoctions, filter, let stand for 2-4 hours, filter out the supernatant, concentrate to a thick paste with a relative density of 1.30-1.35 (80°C), mix with the above powder, dry, crush, add appropriate amount of starch to granulate, dry, spray the above distillate, mix, press into 1000 tablets, and coat. Characteristics This product is a sugar-coated tablet, which appears brown after removing the sugar coating; it tastes bitter and slightly astringent. Identification (1) Take this product and observe it under a microscope: the stone cells are spherical, kidney-shaped or triangular, with dense pores; sometimes 2 to 3 branched stone cells can be seen connected, in the shape of a spindle, rectangular or elongated into fibers, with many branches, pores and grooves of varying density, and starch grains in the cell cavity. (2) Take 5 tablets of this product, remove the sugar coating, grind them into powder, add 30 ml of methanol, heat in a water bath for 30 minutes, filter, evaporate the filtrate to dryness, add 20 ml of water to dissolve, add 4 ml of hydrochloric acid, reflux in a water bath for 30 minutes, cool immediately, extract twice with ether, 25 ml each time, combine the ether extracts, evaporate the ether, add 2 ml of chloroform to dissolve, and use this as the test solution. Take another rhubarb reference medicinal material and prepare a reference medicinal material solution in the same way; then take chrysophanol and rhamnolide reference substances, add methanol to prepare a mixed solution containing 0.5 mg of each per 1 ml, as the reference substance solution. According to the thin layer chromatography method (Appendix Ⅵ B), 3 μl of each of the three solutions mentioned above were respectively spotted on the same silica gel G thin layer plate, and petroleum ether (30-60°C)-ethyl formate-formic acid (15:5:1) was used as the developing agent. After development, the plate was taken out, dried, and examined under ultraviolet light (365 nm). In the chromatogram of the test sample, the same orange fluorescent spot appears at the position corresponding to the chromatogram of the reference medicinal material and the reference sample. After being fumigated in ammonia gas, the spot turns red. (3) Take 5 tablets of this product, remove the sugar coating, grind them into powder, add 20 ml of ether, shake for 10 minutes, discard the ether, evaporate to dryness, add 20 ml of ethyl acetate to the residue, heat and reflux for 1 hour, take out, cool, filter, evaporate the filtrate to dryness, add 1 ml of methanol to the residue to dissolve it, and use it as the test solution. Take another reference substance of Gardenia jasminoides and add methanol to prepare a solution containing 1 mg per 1 ml as the reference substance solution. According to the thin layer chromatography method (Appendix Ⅵ B), 5 μl of each of the above two solutions were taken and spotted on the same silica gel G thin layer plate, and ethyl acetate-acetone-formic acid-water (10:6:2:0.5) was used as the developing solvent. After development, the plate was taken out, dried, sprayed with 10% ethanolic sulfuric acid solution, and baked at 105°C for about 10 minutes.
