In daily life, sometimes we feel an echo when we speak. This is a manifestation of tinnitus, a common ear disease. Some people don’t know the cause of tinnitus very well. Tinnitus must be treated in time, otherwise it will lead to deafness if it becomes serious. Therefore, we must pay attention to ear diseases. First, we must find the cause of tinnitus, and then prescribe the right medicine and don’t delay the disease. There are many factors that may cause tinnitus in life, which can be summarized as follows: 1. Auditory system diseases (1) Cerumen blockage, tumor or foreign body in the external auditory canal. (2) Various types of otitis media and otosclerosis in the middle ear. (3) Inner ear Meniere's disease, sudden deafness, trauma, noise-induced deafness, presbycusis, etc. 2. Systemic Diseases (1) Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arteriosclerosis, hypotension, etc. (2) Autonomic dysfunction, mental stress, depression, etc. (3) Endocrine diseases: abnormal thyroid function, diabetes, etc. (4) Others: neurodegeneration (such as demyelinating disease), inflammation (viral infection), trauma, drug poisoning, cervical spondylosis, temporomandibular joint disease or malocclusion, etc. The four most common symptoms of tinnitus are: 1. Auditory hallucinations: People often consciously hear pulsating or non-pulsating sounds in their ears. Pulsating sounds refer to sounds that the patient consciously hears that are similar to the sound of a human pulse and are regular. Non-pulsatile sounds refer to the patient's conscious hearing of sounds such as whistles, hisses, motorcycles, and cicadas. Second, the frequency of occurrence: Occasional tinnitus is normal. If tinnitus occurs continuously, it is sometimes indirect. When the symptoms are mild, it is not easy to detect. When they are severe, it will make people restless, unable to concentrate, and upset. These are typical symptoms of tinnitus. 3. The sound of your own hearing becomes louder: You often feel a blockage and stuffiness in your ears, and your own voice sounds very loud. However, when you are talking to others, you often cannot hear what the other person is saying even if the distance is very close; 4. Hearing loss: When talking to others, the patient often asks others to repeat what they said or to speak louder. When watching TV or listening to music, they often turn up the volume, but people around them find it deafening and uncomfortable. Some people think that "tinnitus is no big deal, it doesn't matter", and the doctor said "this is because he doesn't understand the harm of tinnitus". Tinnitus can cause the following harms: Affects people's hearing: "Long-term noise will lead to deafness" is commonly known as "noisy deafness". In most cases, it is a gradual hearing loss, especially high-frequency hearing. Affecting people's spiritual life: Tinnitus can cause patients to have a series of mental and psychological disorders, which in turn can aggravate tinnitus, leading to a vicious cycle and worsening of the disease. Impact on people's physical health: Severe tinnitus can cause patients to have mental imbalance, endocrine disorders, low immunity, and easily induce other diseases. |
