Although it looks like a thin line, it actually requires a lot of technical skills to draw. If you don't control the strength of the eyeliner well, it is easy to end up with damaged eyeliner. Because of this, many girls will directly tattoo eyeliner, or contact lens liner. What are the reasons why the eyeliner is not colored when tattooing?

The reasons why the eyeliner does not color can be divided into three types according to the type.

1. It is difficult to color on the spot or the coloring is not accurate

2. No color or very light color after the color return period

3. Uneven coloring, usually caused by poor effect at both ends of the eyeliner

Reason 1

It is difficult to color or the color is not realistic during the operation, which is generally due to unreasonable operation techniques of the tattoo artist. In order to ensure coloring, we should pay attention to the following when operating:

1Vertical needle insertion

Vertical means perpendicular to the operating surface, not the customer's face. During the operation, the angle of the eyelashes may be different each time. Therefore, it is recommended that the direction of the needle insertion of the machine should also change with the change of the plane of your stretched eyelashes to ensure that the needle is inserted vertically each time.

2 Segment operation

When operating the beauty contact lens line, it is done in sections. At the same needle speed, the shorter the section, the more solid the color. Therefore, do not lengthen the needle distance of each section in order to save time, as this will not be worth the effort.

3. Go three steps forward and retreat two steps back

The method of going three steps forward and retreating two steps back can effectively avoid the number of empty needles or false needles. Keep it in mind when operating!

4 needle speed should be slow

If the needle speed is too fast, the pigment will not easily enter the skin but will accumulate on the surface of the skin. Therefore, do not adjust the gear of the machine to a high level in pursuit of speed.

5. Apply numbing cream once

It is best not to apply numbing medicine a second time during the operation. If the customer feels pain, he should endure it if he can. Because the second anesthetic application will form an isolation layer on the skin surface, it will cause certain difficulties for the pigment to be implanted into the skin.

6. Remove floating color

During the operation of the cosmetic contact lens liner, it is easy for floating color to be produced due to tears or tissue fluid. You should pay attention to promptly remove the floating color in the needle cap and re-apply the pigment. The floating color on the eyelashes should also be wiped clean in time.

Reason 2

The second reason why the eyeliner does not color is that it does not color or the color is very light after the color return period. This is the most common reason why the eyeliner does not color. There are generally two reasons:

1. Incorrect operation method

When the operation is completed, it looks like the color has been applied, but it is actually false coloring. After the scab falls off, it is basically gone, and there is no question of whether the color will return or not.

Technique suggestions: When operating, be sure to insert the needle vertically. If it is tilted, the pigment will easily accumulate at the needle entrance, and the amount entering the skin will be less, and will be carried away by the scab after scabbing. Do not use too many needles, as too many times will cause serious skin damage, resulting in thick scabs and the pigment will be carried away by the scabs.

Tips: Use a cotton swab dipped in a little swelling management agent to clean repeatedly, clean the snowflake lines and black spots next to it (that is, the color of the hair follicles, which is also false coloring), and clean the false coloring.

2. Customer's skin condition

It is more difficult to color if you have oily skin or excessive eye secretions. It is difficult to achieve coloring in one go for oily skin, so let the customer come back for touch-up after the color return period.

Reason 3

Uneven coloring, poor effect at both ends of the eyeliner

Here are the reasons

This situation is relatively uncommon. In this case, the eye contact line is not colored, either because the tattoo artist has a problem with the operating skills, or because the artist sheds too many tears for the customer, and the tears dilute the colorant at both ends and take it away. Please remember to wipe away the tears in time during the operation.

Eighty to ninety percent of our customers shed tears, and we cannot avoid it. But the impact can be minimized.

Here’s a little tip for you: Place a piece of cotton pad at the base of your eyelashes to absorb the tears that flow out. At the same time, lift the skin a little to isolate the skin from the tears. Dry skin will help with color development.
