1. Overeating

Eating too much or being too full makes it easy for food to flow back into the esophagus through the cardiac sphincter.

2. Vigorous activities after meals

Bending over, lying down or doing strenuous exercise after a meal can easily cause food to flow back into the esophagus.

3. The waistband of clothes and pants is too tight

Wearing clothes that are too tight may compress the stomach and cause food reflux.

4. Disease

Problems such as stomach ulcers, gallbladder disease, or gastrointestinal diseases may cause problems similar to heartburn. [1]

Certain types of exercise may cause heartburn more often than others in some people. Experiment to see which exercises make your heartburn worse and which relieve it. You could also join an aerobics class or go hiking to see if high-intensity aerobics or running triggers the discomfort. Headstands or yoga poses that invert the stomach's center of gravity may also trigger and worsen heartburn. If you encounter this situation, you can ask your coach how to modify these inverted postures.

Try the Vinegar Remedy

While it’s a matter of personal success or failure, there’s probably no harm in trying some symptomatic treatments. Trying the vinegar remedy is safe, natural, and inexpensive. It’s as simple as drinking a little vinegar, which eliminates and balances the pH environment needed for heartburn to occur.
