Why does the tip of my nose hurt when I press it?

The tip of the nose is also a part of the face. Many problems in the body will manifest themselves in various aspects of the body, and the tip of the nose may also have some symptoms. Some people also experience pain when pressing the tip of their nose. This situation is related to many factors. If you want to solve a problem, you must understand the problem fundamentally. So why does it hurt when you press the tip of your nose?

1. Getting angry

It is usually caused by getting too hot on the nose. Small boils appear on the nose. Boils are caused by the invasion of Staphylococcus aureus from the hair follicles or sweat glands, and are acute suppurative infections of a single hair follicle and its sebaceous glands. The inflammation often extends to the subcutaneous tissue. The occurrence of multiple furuncles simultaneously or repeatedly in various parts of the body is called furunculosis, which is common in malnourished children or diabetic patients. If your nose is dry, wipe it with iodine. It will be better after a few times. If you get a fever and your nose is dry, drink more water. Soaking puffed tamarind in water can help relieve the fever. You can also collect some wormwood and soak it in water. You can also eat more bitter melon to help regulate your nose. As long as the fever is relieved, it will not hurt.

2. Press

The tip of the human nose is cartilage tissue, and there is no hard bone. If you press the cartilage too much, it will become congested and cause discomfort. If you don't usually have symptoms of pain or discomfort at the tip of your nose, try not to press it. As for whether to go to the hospital, if there is no redness, swelling, pain, or itching, I don't think you need to go to the hospital. It may be that you pressed it too much. Generally, the cartilage will recover on its own if there is a little pain without inflammation.

3. Boils

If the tip of your nose hurts when you press it, it means you have a carbuncle. A carbuncle is a purulent infection of hair follicles and the surrounding tissues deep inside the hair follicles. The infection, inflammation and fusion of multiple adjacent hair follicles form a carbuncle. Inflammatory nodules can be treated with hot compresses or physical therapy (thermolysis, infrared or ultrashort wave), or with topical antibiotic ointments such as mupirocin ointment. When there is a pus head, apply carbolic acid on the top. When there is fluctuation, drainage should be performed as soon as possible. Immature boils should not be squeezed to avoid spreading the infection.
