What to do if there is no nose tip

Love of beauty is human nature. For a person, it is very terrible if he does not have a nose tip. This situation is related to many reasons. The absence of a nose tip will directly affect the beauty of people's face. With the advancement of medicine, there are also plastic surgeries for such problems in clinical practice. Of course, when people are doing nose tip plastic surgery, they should also pay attention to their own situation and choose the most appropriate surgical method. So what should a person do if he has no nose tip?

1. Wedge resection of the nasal base

If the nose tip is in good shape and is only slightly low, a wedge-shaped full-thickness structure is removed at the base of both sides of the nose to make the nostrils retract and the dome protrude, thus raising the nose tip.

2. Cartilage transplantation

Make a nasal margin incision or an intracartilage incision in the nostril to expose the alar cartilage and lateral nasal cartilage, and remove the cranial part of the alar cartilage or the caudal part of the lateral nasal cartilage depending on the condition. The removed cartilage is cut into shape and sewn to the top of the dome to raise the tip of the nose. The concha cartilage can also be cut for transplantation.

3. Tip rhinoplasty uses a minimally invasive incision in the nasal cavity

Before the operation, we need to carry out corresponding preoperative planning, and then sculpt the necessary prosthetic materials during the operation. The prosthesis of the tip of the nose will be inserted into the tip of the nose after the operation to achieve the purpose of optimizing the tip of the nose. The result is very obvious and is favored by many beauty lovers in clinical practice. Experts point out that after tip rhinoplasty, we should try not to touch the tip of our nose to prevent the prosthesis from shifting and affecting our nose shape. A satisfactory nose tip in reality always has some appropriate angles and protrusions as well as some delicate points and surfaces. After the corrective surgery, the nose tip should be the most prominent part when viewed from all angles.

4. Bilateral nasal cartilage inner crus approach

Make bilateral lateral incisions on the columella to expose the medial crus and dome of the alar cartilage, remove the soft structure between the two medial crus, and then make a mattress suture near the upper and lower ends to bring the two medial crus closer. This method can raise the tip of the nose by 2-3mm.
